Hello,
I would like to edit some scenes but I just can't find a software on VEF. I really tried searching but words like "edit", "cut" and "split" are so common that I haven't found any useful results. I already have Avidemux and Boilsoft. But as vintage scenes are very often interrupted for no particular reason I would like to cut relevant parts out and to join them into one single scene. Can someone recommend me a program or software? It doesn't necessarily have to be free but above all easy to use. Thanks in advance. |

That is what Avidemux does best, try googling Avidemux tutorials, and learn how to use it. You won't find anything better.

Image-grabber software recommendations?
Hello All,
I'm searching for some decent image-grabbing freeware specifically for bulk-downloading from gallery pages, and am after some recommendations. What I'm specifically after is a program which doesn't rely on batch descriptors to bulk-download images from a particular page/gallery. I'm currently using the Firefox App DownThemAll, which is great for this purpose, provided the galleries I'm visiting feature sequential image numbers in the host URL so it can be given a 'from-to' range to download (eg. 001-100.jpeg). However, when the numbers are random / non-sequential, I'm back to the laborious job of clicking on individual images. Is there a program / app out there which is intelligent enough to batch download all jpeg images linked to the corresponding thumbnails on a page / gallery, without needing the image URLs to be specified (impossible if their random and arbitrary)? Any help would be greatly appreciated . Thanks |

BatchDownload allows you to grab all image links on a webpage and then save the pictures, plus you can also manually select just the images you want to grab from a page. It will use the actual image filename for saving or number them sequentially if it is unable to retrieve a filename from the webpage. ImageHost Grabber is great for grabbing pics from dedicated imagehosts (imagevenue, imagebam etc.). It also removes the prefix and postfix characters which these imagehosts add to the original picture filenames. Drawback is it only works for imagehosts which are defined in its imagehost file but new imagehosts are added to this on a regular basis. |

Note: re Imagehost grabber, there is a Forum devoted to it, if you've got
a site you want them to support, just post a polite request. They are incredibly polite and obliging -- considering that it's free software, mysteriously their support is far better than most stuff you pay for. They also have a rule definition language so you can "roll your own" -- requires that you have some familiarity with PHP style code |

I recently subscribed to a pay site which is really old fashioned and displays its pictures using thumbnails with no zip files. To download a picture, you click on the thumbnail in a gallery, and it takes you through to the full sized pic. which can then be saved by right-clicking and using 'save image as ' etc. Then you have to either click on an arrow icon to move on to the next full sized pic, or hit the back button to go back to the thumbnail gallery and then select another pic.
This is really slow and laborious. I have tried to use Downthemall but all it does is download the tiny little thumbnails, it just can't see past those. Does anyone know of a program or add-on that can do this? Bulk Image Downloader looks like it might do it, but it's not free. Batchdownload doesn't work either. |

ttp://website.com/gallery01/picture01.jpg up to ttp://website.com/gallery99/picture99.jpg you can use the Firefox extension Flashgot to build a gallery.
