What would it take for Stockings and Suspenders/Garters to make a big comeback?

I buy RHT stockings from Secrets In Lace for 16.99 for 15 denier and 18.99 for 10 denier. Their FF stockings range from 29.99 to 89.00 for the french heel or euro heel. At National I can get 6 pair of the stretch stockings for 16.99. I wear the ones I get from National daily and the Secrets In Lace for going out or special occasions. Like I said before I never wear pants and only on very rare occasions (usually by request) will I wear pantyhose.

I always like stockings (RHT or FF) as a gift along with any type of sexy lingerie. So guys if you want to see us in sexy things all you have to do is buy them for us. I know I will gladly model any lingerie item for a man who gives it to me immediately. Oh and don't forget sheer full brief panties!

I agree secrets in lace make classy stockings and I like to look at the website but they don't sell them in the u.k. so the import costs make them terribly expensive. If they were available here I would buy them for my next girlfriend when I find one that is classy enough to wear stockings, I hear eastern european women are more likely to wear them but don't know if this is true.

Secrets in lace have had an european outlet for some years now, they are based in Denmark IIRC. Pricing is in euros and there is no import costs

I think there are lots of reasons why you don't wear them much now.

Everyone thinks if you wear them that they are about sex. So if you are a teenager and you want to wear them adults would stop you because they think they are too sexy for you to wear. So then when you get older I think it would be hard not to think of them as sort of slut clothes. So people have to stop and see them as sort of good dressy clothes to wear and not as slutty. I don't understand why people do think of them as slutty though.

Stockings and garters take longer to put on than tights.

Stockings and garters like high heels make you feel nice and dressed up like you are gift wrapped and your body is special but like high heels they can get uncomfortable. The garters can really stick into your legs sitting down.

They dont really work under jeans or leggings and they are mostly what you wear. Sometimes even just wearing a dress or skirt too often makes you stand out and people will say things to you if you mostly wear a dress specially in winter and specially if you are younger. I think when you get older then maybe older people have got so used to not wearing them they just don't think of it.

I think though that wearing them is sort of special and make you feel really really good and I like very much that men enjoy seeing you dressed like that. It is really nice that men would be interested in how you are dressed and would like to see you dressed in a way they enjoyed looking at you. I like the idea that men would enjoy picking clothes and your outfit so that they could enjoy you and show you off a bit

Garter belts and stockings are still daily wear for me. When I was a young woman garter belts and stockings were what most women wore. Sure pantyhose were around but they were so expensive only the well off ladies could afford them. I did try pantyhose a few times but I absolutely hate them. There are still women who wear dresses daily and I am one of them. I don't own a pair of jeans, slacks, pants or even shorts. I don't feel at all comfortable in anything other than dresses or a skirt and blouse, not a t - shirt a blouse. I wear skirts or dresses, makeup, jewelry, stockings and heels daily because it's how I feel comfortable.

I think it is good that you can do that but I don't think I would be able to do it so I was just saying what sort of stops me cause the question was about what would have to change for more girls and women to dress in stockings and garters.

It's true. I have had the pleasure of dating ladies from Poland and Russia. My ex from Russia even had her own supply of FF Seamed stockings. Sigh, happy days!
