I was thinking a lot about this topic today and remember reading Sasha Grey's response to her nude scene in "Entourage" where she was heavily panned for showing her pubic hair.

It's a fashion thing - and this can be seen by studying porn over the years. I am working on a project reviewing all of my issues of Club from 1988 through to 2010, and as part of this I will be making a note of the "bush v bald" thing.
