You take scale to get the pilot made, with the agreement that you'll be paid $25 million per episode once production begins. It gets the highest ratings of the new season, with an order from the network for two seasons worth, just for starters. Then the producer dies, the associate producer gets convicted of murder in the death, and the studio shuts the show down without even one scene shot for the series. You get your check for $2500 and a promise to hook you up with a new show, which never pans out.

I wish this corruption wasn't so wordy.

Done. Compared to the transcript of your trial for copyright theft it's a pittance. You've been reported for pilfering porn. It was later proven, with help from concerned citizens, that all the members of VEF and all related sites were simply you and your multiple personalities.
