Donald Jr and Kellyane Conway have BOTH rejected their SS security details on the same day...within hours of each other.

Don Jr claims he wants freedom, but has not made plain if his family and children require support and protection by the SS. Just an "I Need Space" wimpish declaration.

Kellyane however, should NEVER have been afforded an SS detail..... UNTIL she claimed to find an envelope with white powder in it....

Twatter is alive with reasons why she had an SS detail after that...it wasn't anthrax, seemed her dealer changed dates....

However...as Trump Snr has now blown-out the SS Budget for protecting him and his 18 family and friends.... (Obama was allowed 11).....the SS Budget is dead and buried.

He has overspent in 8 months, Obama in 2 years.
Mainly because of his numerous holidays and spells at his Estates...where the SS Protection detail are/were. charged for their rooms and 'Golf Carts' etc...by the Trump Organisation.

A borderline Federal offense, but I doubt anyone in the GOP is going to push it.

So, until the next support from the Dems keeping the US Employees being paid...it's pretty critical.

Trump Snr has blown the SS Budget - probably why he was sent to Camp David by Gen Kelly, on his own...then a week later his Cabinet joined him and cut some 'costs' from the SS Budget. Camp David protection comes out of Pentagon Funds, not the SS.

John McCain has just done Lisa Murkowski a huge favor by coming out in opposition to the Graham-Cassidy Bill. His "nay" vote dooms the bill's passage. Other Republican Senators are also now free to break ranks knowing that the bill is doomed.

McCain is kind of a throwback Republican who has been willing to put governing and the good of the country ahead of partisan politics. Being terminally ill, he is immune to any kind of party pressure. He will never be running again. Trump's dissing his Vietnam service and extended period of captivity and torture was really disgusting. If I were king McCain would be allowed to repeatedly twist the Donald's balls and turn him over to some North Vietnamese "interrogators" for a few days of education.
