Usually the reason the victim was 'shot' in the legs was for an actual reason, I'm not saying it was right (Not a fan of vigilantism) but in Northern Ireland there was always a low level of petty crime for obvious reasons. |

I've got a few, some as groups:
Maddie Smith doing a hairspray ad in the 1970's Fosters and XXXX ads, especially the one where 2 bottles of sherry collapse the pick-up Joan Collins/Leonard Rossiter martini ads Valerie Leon in Hai Karate ads 1970's Harp ads (stays sharp to the bottom of the glass ... celestial banjo!) My favourite current ad is for some chocolate bar where a Japanese girl inadvertently photocopies her ladygarden.... Think I've got some of them, I can upload if there's any demand. |

Some favourites
You've been -Tangoed The gorilla playing the drums on the Cadbury's Dairy Milk add. From the past Lorraine Chase's ""No Luton Airport" oddly I can't remember what she was advertising now? Plus as previously mentioned by Astatine ... Leonard Rossiters Cinzano adds were beautifully crafted

Adverts nowadays are bloody annoying but there was an advert that used to be on a few years ago advertising the Nissan Almera which I thought was really good. They were spoofs of The Sweeney and The Professionals. I thought that advert was bloody brilliant especially The Sweeney spoof. Those actors on that advert were dead ringers for the Late John Thaw and Dennis Waterman.
Here is the Nissan Almera advert http://www.megaupload.com/?d=BGAGSYDY Older adverts that are my favourites include The Turkish delight ad, The Ready Brek ad and Cadbury's Smash. Doc Last edited by DrFishnets; November 1st, 2009 at 03:35 PM.. |

The Shackleton High Seat Chair advert has to be the greatest of all time.

Cinema ads, I loved them...the Ki-ora (a boogie boogie boogie) with the cool crows and the Pearl and Dean ads ( pah pah phah pah...etc) they just added to the cinema experience for me, then there would be a dodgy crackly advert for a ropey local indian restaurant before the film started.
