I watched the latest episode of Blindspot today and discovered that it takes place in the same universe as the Stargate TV shows! Bill Nye is the father of one of the regulars on Blindspot and was complaining that his wife was co-authoring a scientific paper with his arch-rival, Dr. Rodney McKay!

One episode into The Rain, a Danish Post Apocalyptic story about a rain carried virus that pretty much wipes out Scandinavia and presumably the rest of the world. Quite gripping so far.

Just found out that Lucifer was cancelled by Fox. F*ck!
Fans took over social media with the hashtag #SaveLucifer But what's funny about this is that even the legendary Captain Kirk (William Shatner) is pissed off about the cancellation

Siren.
The story of a small fishing town called Bristol Cove and one thoroughly pissed off, very non-Disney mermaid, who turns up there to cause all manner of mayhem in her search for her missing sister.. So much good TV, so few years left to watch it all. |

A couple more episodes of The Rain. I thought this would be a sort of Danish rehash of TWD, but it's much better. And seeing this new world through the eyes of two teenagers who have spent six years in a bunker and are thus babes-in-the-perilous-woods gives it a unique edginess.

Stuff I've seen recently:
Arrested Development S4 Remix: There are additional scenes here but it's really not that different from the original and the timeline is even more confusing here. A fun watch though. Dear White People S2: I didn't enjoy this as much as S1 because I felt some of the story lines were weak and some of my favourite characters, like Tory, seemed to be pushed to the sidelines. Also, I HATED the end scene. I almost got the sense that they were turning this into a parody and I hope that isn't the case. Elementary: Started watching the latest season and I love it. So, glad it was picked up for S7, I was afraid they were going to cancel it. |

Started watching season one of the Librarians, albeit four years late. I saw the original movies and thought they were pretty weak, but if the rest of the season holds up, it might be interesting show.

Back to Brooklyn 99... it was picked up so fast by NBC (barely a day and a half later) that I think they were already interested on it.
