Hello,

I'm finally able to release a first edition of the project I'm working the last half year or so.

cc79 proudly presents:

"Die Anfänge der Pornographie in Deutschland"

It's an ebook in PDF format, roundabout 700 pages so far. I try to collect as many information as possible to german-produced early porn, say early 70s to early 80s, of course our beloved "loops".

It's still very much a "beta version", but it is complete enough to share it here. My hope is that you guys can help me filling the gaps. I recently added a VHS section, where I try to keep track of where and when loops were re-released on tape. There is a lot missing so far, though.

A big thank you to all of you! This would have never been possible without the many many great catalog and cover scans posted here over the years.

I hope you enjoy it and it will be helpful as a reference. I put a lot of time and effort in it, and had lots of fun typing silly story descriptions from covers and catalogs. Prose at its best.

Since the loops covered are all german, the whole thing is to 99 % german. But I think it's helpful to non-germans anyway.

There will be regular updates, so check back here once in a while. You can identify your version by the date in the footer (like "Version 2010-01-27").

Some suggestions:

By focussing on Super8 releases the thing is rather thin on porn feature films, even early ones. There's no Die Masslosen, Stammtisch Thema Nr. 1, Der Junge mit der Tiefenschärfe, Zwei geile Hirsche auf der Flucht, to name just a few. These are more difficult to assemble by (video) label, as they tend to be published in series where most films are non-German. (Imperial is a rare exception.)

It would be nice to have more info on actors and actresses appearing in the films, perhaps even with an index. For directors that's probably not worthwhile as they are usually either unknown or Hans Billian...

You are right on both topics.
I really concentrated on loops, where info is much harder to find. The VHS section is expanding, and there will be feature films, too, although never complete. You can't have everything. But as said, it is a work in progress! You can help me with that, by the way.

The same with infos about actresses and directors. My main source where catalogs and covers, where names are rare. Have to check back on EAGF and here for some names, it's all a matter of time. And an index is planned, too. (When it will be useful, some day.)

This is also planned, but info on most of the firms is bloody hard to find. I collected some info that has still to be compiled and inserted. Coming sooner or later.

I think this all the time, too. Very much of this material has yet to surface in modern media. Never seen a loop of the "Amor" series, for example (except some silly cartoons).

Thanks for this work. Useful and interesting. Good to have so many cover photos.
Reading through I like the variety of names that the film makers used, not just 'Report' films, but also references to other topics for example '12 Titten für Konsul Meyer'.
Good to have names and dates of course, but I appreciate that so much is not available.
Index would be a useful addition. Interesting interview with Hans Billian.

Ribu 039; on the cover: Julia Perrin; this may from a proper loop

Ribu 048; on the cover: Piotr Stanislas; the back indicates that this is an excerpt from Die Nackten und die Reichen (Ribu VHS/DVD title)

Ribu 052; there is a full length feature film called Jailhouse Sex, so this is one of its excerpts (cover: Olinka Hardiman and Hubert Geral).

Almost all of these covers are generic, i.e. have nothing to do with the film. Except for Club 66 which does show a scene from the film. The De Luxe series was released more than once, and the covers change between releases.

Seems that RIBU pretty much only released clips of feature films as super 8 loops. Does anybody know a "real" loop that was also intended to be one?
