Motley Crue, Warrant, and XYZ sing about getting it on with models and strippers.
If you get with one of these girls, girls, girls, you might proposition her, then be face down in the gutter of her cherry pie. It might put a smile on your face, ten miles wide... |

Have managed to extract the audio for "Katya's Strip" from the 1974 film "The Working Girls". Gotta love Cassandra Peterson (Elvira)! Managed to remove the section with dialogue, so it comes in at 2 minutes 31.
Working towards obtaining soundtracks for Toys In The Attic and The Ruling Class. Would also like to get hold of a copy of The Boston Baked Beans version of The Stripper, as it so far eludes me! |

Hi all, it's gone very quiet in here! Have been utilising Spotify to find loads of striptease music, which can be ripped with Audacity. A treasure trove!

Does anyone know where to get copies of the incidental stripper music they use on TV shows? Been trying to find some but am struggling, especially with the music from the Carry On films. Seems to be a lot of one off tracks made but not released.

I'm on another "unicorn hunt"
A rather prolific 60's band called "Bill Black's Combo" released an album called "Bill Black's Beat Goes On" which is currently available on vinyl or MP3 download only. The vinyl version has 12 tracks and track 12 is a cover of "The Stripper". However the digital version only has 11 tracks and tracks 10 and 11 are labelled incorrectly: Vinyl release: A1 The Beat Goes On A2 Ode To Billy Joe A3 River Of Darkness A4 Gotta Travel On A5 Wipe It Out B1 Funky Broadway B2 Soul Man B3 Never My Love B4 The Letter B5 A Whiter Shade Of Pale B6 The Stripper Digital release: 1 The Beat Goes On 2 Ode to Billy Joe 3 River of Darkness 4 Gotta Travel On 5 Wipe It Out 6 Let the Good Times Roll 7 Funky Broadway 8 Soul Man 9 Never My Love 10 A Whiter Shade of Pale (actually "The Letter") 11 The Stripper (actually "A Whiter Shade of Pale") ...long story short, The Stripper is missing from the digital album! This error is present in every copy of this album that I can find (Amazon, iTunes, etc). Does anyone know where I could get a complete digital copy the from? I really don't want to buy the whole vinyl album (which I can't play anyway). S_i |

Blimey Stroking_It, that really is a tricky one to find! I wonder why they didn't correct the tracks on the digital release. May be worth an email to Apple?

Hi Wild The album was originally released on Hi Records and is currently licensed to Fat Possum. I e-mailed them a couple of days back but am yet to receive a reply. Watch this space...!
The vinyl copy is easy enough to find on eBay and record collectors sites, but annoyingly it was never released on any other media. There are loads of digital Bill Black albums out there with the same track appearing on several different releases. But "The Stripper" only appears on "Beat Goes On" and "Greatest Hits Volume 2", the latter of which which has not been released digitally. |

Not willing to admit defeat, I bought the vinyl on Ebay for £7. Looking into one of those USB player/recorder things. Didn't just get it for this one, there are some other vinyls in my collection that I want to rip.
