Apart from Mayfair, which was always my favourite mag, Escort and Fiesta were the mainstays of my early mag-buying back in my teens and through my student years- the first mag I ever bought as a teenager was Fiesta, with Escort not long behind. At one time in my early 20's, I used to buy all three pretty much every month.

I'd agree with pharoahegypt - Escort was probably best for the girl sets, but Fiesta usually had the edge for readers' wives, mostly because of the 'Readers' Wives Striptease' and the annual competition where amateurs could win the chance of a pro photoshoot for the mag.

OK, sometimes they cheated by sneaking a model in as a 'wife', but the Readers Wives Striptease was one of my favourite mag features back then- Looking back through the Fiesta Striptease threads on VEF, it really did feature some cracking shoots.

I haven't regularly bought a mag in years, but did pick up a copy of Fiesta up a few months back, and it definitely is a shadow of it's former self

For me, it's Escort over Fiesta. But I'm talking 1960s mags here, not seen an Escort from 1972 or newer yet.

I liked both mags back in their 80s heyday. Escort for the Girls of.... sets and Aunty Jayne and co strip sets. Fiesta for it's championing of the mature woman and models otherwise considered ugly elsewhere.
But I haven't bought a mag for years now. I don't like modern porn and I miss the days of ordinary girls getting their kit off.
The best mag ever in the 70/80s was Mayfair.

I preferred Club or Mayfair (or sometimes Men's World) in my mag-buying days, but definitely preferred Escort to Fiesta - it was fun and sexy, and just had a better "feel" than Fiesta to me.

It always was Fiesta, the readers wives section was my first port of call. Two copies were bought - just in case of ruination..

It was always Fiesta for the readers wives section, although not all of them were amateurs. Escort had the better models.

The 'Girls of...' sets were always a big favourite with me. I've always liked outdoor flashing pics and group sets, and the 'Auntie Jayne and co' shoots were great fun as well....I've always been very aware of the appeal of the mature lady, so Pat Wynn was a big part of my teenage sexual awakening, to say nothing of my developing interest in women with big boobs... Pat, Shelagh Harrison, the incomparable Donna Ambrose, Debbie Jordan, Millie Minchin to name but a few of the regular girls in those 'Auntie Jayne' shoots...

IIRC, I was the opposite- when I settled down for my first 'read' of a new issue of Fiesta, I often used to leave the wives section until last, and finish off with the Readers Wives Striptease set.

The other great thing about Fiesta for me was their Readers Wives Special issues- I've still got quite a few stashed away in my attic.

Definitely Escort for me. My girlfriend at the time was in it a few times in the 1980's Fiesta was just not as sexy.

I usually only bought Fiesta for the stories, they always seemed to be well written. I started buying it in the mid 1980s and loved the I confess stories written by female readers.
It was mid-nineties when i started buying both Escort and Fiesta together.
The ladies in Escort were far superior to Fiesta at that time (IMO) and lot's more very sexy young readers wives and girlfriends.
I wrote in to a few readers wives but never got a reply.
Last issue of Escort I saw was a few years ago and seemed to be full of stick figure women with tattoos -not my thing.
Last read Fiesta probably about ten years ago. My favourite issues from Fiesta seem to be from the 1980's.
I own most of the early Readers Letters collections that Fiesta released, after about issue 22 they became very poor quality.
