I must agree. It is the saerch for the ultimate vid or pic, and when you find it, then the search is on for something even better.

Actually the best thing that has ever happened to me is the recent fiasco with the file sharing hosts. I am not going to buy 10 premium accounts just to download porn, so I can only go where Rapidshare is still used.

Thank god most of the movies on this site are through Rapidshare. I am getting a nice collection of softcore movies to watch in my old age.

One problem (if you want to call it that) about porn today is thanks to the Internet it has made hoarders of us all. I have a fairly large amount of it but I keep wanting more and more. There's always another girl you discover, another scene/movie that looks great that you want, etc. In the old days we had a basic collection and seemed to get by ok with it, but now it's like "more more more".

Funny enough, I still turn to the old faves more often than not as well. I also have a collection that is too big to watch in one sitting.

Yes, it has - and isn't it great? It's so marvellously easy to hoard electronic porn. In the old days, I was always having to prune my collection of mags to prevent it becoming impractically bulky, heavy, and indiscreet. This meant many very hard decisions, and, of course, I often got it wrong in hindsight.

How often do you read on this forum something like, 'I once had a complete set of (whatever title) but got rid of the lot when I moved house (or had a disapproving girlfriend).' In my case it was the spanking mags Janus, Roue and Phoenix. Rediscovering those 'lost treasures' on this forum (and finding some new ones) has been wonderful.

Having to throw away a precious 'stash' in the past and regretting it must be one of the experiences that most of us here have in common. Now the practical problem of storing our treasured porn has been solved, we don't want to make the same mistake again!

What I find absolutely awesome about internet porn is finding scenes/movies that I thought I would never see again. There have been times when I thought they were lost to time only to find them online. That is awesome.

I also like the fact that you don't have to clutter up your house with tons of vhs tapes and mags anymore. The only drawback is you have to back up your collection though - I've had a computer die on my twice and I lost my collection both times. I won't make that mistake again!

Now that I'm approaching my twilight years I find that my use of porn has evolved beyond juvenile curiosity and the desire for a quick wank. These days, I prefer to light a few scented candles, uncork a nice Merlot, and set out a nice, sensible party platter. I then invite a few friends over for a viewing, and thoughtful discussion. Oddly enough, no one ever shows!

Maybe, just maybe, the quest for new porn is using the same neurological pathways that make men hunt for new sexual partners? Doesn't matter if you're married to <insert name of fave celeb hottie here>, you'll still be tempted by any piece of good-looking skirt that wanders by. The lure of new flesh trumps any former conquest.

There also seems to be a big difference between the way the brain processes images and, say, music - a stash of favourite pictures gets very 'tired' in no time at all. Maybe this is because our ability to recognise familiar images is so well developed.

But compare that to your favourite music tracks - somehow they can still entertain or surprise you despite hundreds of repeat plays. Isn't that to do with our ability to recall the exact details of an audio track being less well developed?

The collecting impulse and 'completism', added to the mix, makes for a potent drive to keep surfing the edge of newly available/previously unseen smut. But you have to remember that it's the hunt, not the c*nt, that provides the thrill. You might blow two hours on a trawl through the free gallery sites and find nothing different or better than a thousand other picture sets you already have. But those two hours will probably be far more stimulating than looking back through your old stash. For 120 minutes your brain will be anticipating finding that 'holy grail' fill set of some favourite model, or a killer photoshoot that goes straight to the top of your top ten, or a new model who will turn out to be enticingly collectible and might start off her own mini-obsession, etc.

Anyway, that's what I imagine () guys who are addicted to porn go through.

I have been downloading primarily softcore photos and videos for the last seven years, but especially since April 2012. I estimate that I will probably make full-page prints on my photo-quality printer of up to one-fourth the grand total of the softcore photos. This will likely cost me about $50 per month in ink and supplies. And yet, while I earn this money, I will be downloading still more photos and videos. Is it an addiction, or a hobby?
