Gareth Bale- what a HERO!
Two from free kicks. Last one won the game in extra time - unbelievable. Adebayor has to go. Just one or two extra class strikers and Spurs really can be contenders. Solid defense and midfield, attractive football, just lacking the spearhead.

I had Athletico Madrid as potential winners of the competition and they have lost at home to Ruben Kazen, for me the rusult of the night.

I thought Lyon could have come away from WHL with honours even, for all Spurs huffing and puffing , nothing up front and left to Bale to gain them the victory, yet again.

Nothing changes with Liverpool, lots of possesion,missed chances and could have been worse than 2-0.

Cannot say much about Chelsea as have not seen the game, but reports suggest a lack luste affair, same goes for Newcastle game, but they have missed chances and according to some reports have had two good goals disallowed.

This year Europa league is top level and the shame is you only win 8 millions euros arriving to final and you win 20 when you're in champions league 8th.UEFA kills football with money and here in France no one plays europa league seriously prefering fight for a plac in champions league.But in 2015 (Platini in a french tv)uefa thinks of stop europa league and a champ league with 64 clubs in stage groups.

I dread next season if he's gone!!!

Of course I was at WHL 1967 When Spurs beat Lyon 4-3 and went out on away goals, same could happen this time!!!
