Just finished second season of Ozark on Netflix. Really, really good crime drama. Highly recommended.

Wow! Killing Eve is really something quite different-never seen anything like this before trying to reinvent the spy genre without resorting to clichés. Honestly wasn't expecting one scene last night and although it is violent it is fascinating viewing. I can tell you that the second series has been picked up by the BBC already and will be transmitted next year.

Got around to watching the first two episodes of KRYPTON (E4) and was surprised to hear so many English accents(along with Irish and American) and then watched the credits and saw it was made in Northern Ireland(where they make Game of Thrones) It was very good and the rest of the episodes should be interesting.

Yes and it just gets better and better as the seasons go on. One particular episode where the story is told in ten minute increments going from end to beginning is mindblowing. |

Exemplary three part BBC documentary.
"Three-part series delving into the story of the Assad dynasty. Right at the centre of it are President Bashar and his wife Asma, who met and fell in love in London. Bashar al-Assad trained to be an eye doctor at St Mary's Hospital in Paddington and Asma was a British-born girl from a Syrian family with a career in investment banking. Over a decade ago, they were being welcomed with open arms in Britain. Today, they are entrenched in a brutal war that has led to some of the most horrifying crimes of modern times. Told through rarely seen footage and testimony of those who knew them, worked with them and studied them, the series explores how the couple, who at first were seen as a modernising force, ended up running a regime accused of war crimes" |

Sorry to say that I've seen a couple of episodes of Krypton and I couldn't get on with it. I found it a sort of Star Wars re-invention of something I'd already pictured in detail as a schoolboy in the DC comics. It was just too different for my liking I'm afraid. However, I am watching Condor at the moment and finding it pretty good.
