Another anomaly on Windows 10
Knowing there is a risk if you use a HP, I had configured the update for the most distant date.
But I realised there was another problem : I could not shutdown my machine anymore. I had 3 choices offered by Windows 10 : - put it on sleep; - make the update and shutdown; - make the update and reload. So I had to put it on sleep when I wanted to quit. But came a time when I really had to shutdown and reload. That is, the possibility of shutdown without update was scratched, which means that the possibility to configure the update is a flat LIE. I am astonished thers is no juridical action based on this currently. |

Microsoft Products
The day Microsoft makes something that doesn't suck is probably the day they start making vacuum cleaners.

Just wondering if anyone else has had problems with folders mysteriously duplicating themselves? Suddenly there seems to be rather a lot of the same stuff in different places. Never had this with earlier versions of Windows. Is it Windows 10, or have I discovered some strange new way of using the system?

More bugs than a cockroach convention.
Just when you thought it couldn't get any worse.
Another bug has been discovered in the latest update than deletes all .ZIP files. https://www.infopackets.com/news/104...e-deletion-bug As one of the commenters on this article says "Who needs ransomware when you've got Windows 10 Updates?"

Some bugs of Windows 10
Here are some bugs I am confronted with every day :
- dysfunction of the cut and paste : 30 % - anomally when I want to shut my compiler : 70 % - anomally when creating a new .zip file : 30 % - anomally when I have to seize a password : 20 % - user not recognised on a non MS-database : 20 % and so on... The list is too long to complete. Obviously the smart people at Microsoft who were not fired for economical reasons are not there anymore. With the exception of Satya Nadella of course. |
