Attention: There is a prevalent email scam happening everywhere where the sender claims to have a password to a site and demands money in some form. Ignore it, do not respond and at most change passwords on any sites you frequent.

Effective immediately, moving or animated GIFs are not allowed in signatures. If your signature has one, please remove or replace it asap. Staff will remove them as and when we see them without notice.

Sincerest apologies to everyone for the recent blackout. VEF and several of our sister forums had a major server malfunction. The database index is being rebuilt from scratch and may take at least several days to be fully restored. Expect major weirdness and lots of glitches in the meantime. Thank you all for your patience and understanding.

Unfortunately it seems that all of the posts made from the 13th March until the crash are permanently lost, please feel free to re-post any such material, apologies for this.

oldcritter Member Join Date: Nov 2007 Posts: 22 Thanks: 2,164 Thanked 120 Times in 20 Posts	I don't even mind long waits between downloads if they avoid CAPTCHA schemes that cannot be handled by JDownloader. That's why I have always appreciated those posters that continued to use Rapidshare - even if it takes a while to download, I can set it and forget, come back later that day and find the file completed. Of course, those posters that posted multiple host sites so parallel downloads are possible were also very much appreciated. But no matter what host they use (even Oron, ), I appreciate any contribution to this forum. Thanks everyone! OC
