I love all this talk about an HR Department at the Palace, If there was such a thing, It would hardly apply to family members. The idea that any Palace employee, No matter how grand, Would ever tell a senior family member "Tough, This is Your life, Now" is ludicrous. The whole country fell over themselves to make Her welcome, The leader of UKIP had to resign because His girlfriend made racist comments about Meggle, FFS. All this nonsense about "Speaking Her Truth", It's all just her version, It's just hearsay, None of it would admissible in court.

With all the money they're getting out of Hollywood Producers you think she wouldn't have had to borrow a dress from Monica Lewinsky for the interview.

I must admit that as a Brit the amount of interest I have in anything to do with the entire Royal Family other than wanting to see it scrapped completely could easily fit inside a small matchbox without having to remove the matches. The little I have understood about this latest "scandal" makes me wish for a disastrous & damaging outcome for Liz & nothing more. I am not a patriot in that sense.

I wouldn't want to be a royal either, 24/7 job dressing up and doing PR for the Crown.

They had Downton Abbey on public TV last night, watched a bit, though seen before. Aristocrats have it lush, but still... Dressing up formally for dinner, every night, ugh. My idea of a good dinner is a plate of steak and fries with sauce in front of the TV while I am wearing a t-shirt and sweat pants.

I recall in that show one of the highborn girls scarpered off with the Irish chauffeur, that must have have been as big a scandal back then as Harry marrying a black girl is today, among certain circles.

Oh, no, our precious bloodline has been contaminated...

It was all received very well. Doubtless there would have been some neandertals somewhere complaining but I seem to remember views on her ethnicity went from 'so what to great'. Shame she's ruined it all.

I'm far from a royalist but I do find the soap opera goings on of the Royal Family amusing. Harry and Meghan will make millions over the next five years by which time Harry will want a divorce. After divorcing, he will be forgiven by his family, be welcomed back into the royal fold and publicly pledge his future to public service.
