Greenman. Thank you for the best post of the day. We all sometimes get carried away with jocularity, but what you say is so poignant and profound.
We must pull together not apart. We must not let extreamists of the far left or right use what has happened to drive wedges into any and all rifts.

I don't mind so much the suggestion that we should 'close our borders', but only if this is a temporary thing until we can get a grip on the number of people we have now and are coming in. After that, the border should be restored to 'sort of' open so that we can decide who and how many come in.
I'm against chucking people out unless they are criminals. Let's have None of that 'pogrom' crap. Slapping a 25% tariff on EU goods is a bad idea, even if it's just a 'start point' due to the fact that it'll just cause bad blood between Britain and the EU. We should do nothing more than trading using the WTO rules. We need common sense, not bluster and and threats. I notice that BoJo seems to be planning on standing for leadership of the tories. If he does, then that will prove that another millionaire bullingdon club tory is a an untrustworthy liar, as I'm pretty sure a month or two ago he said he wouldn't stand for the leadership.

The steps which will be taken by the clerks of the EU are going to be vindictive and viscous. My comment was about Britain taking the hard line approach, and using massive tariffs to get EU business on side, companies like BMW VAG and Mercedes, would not be happy with losing out on their huge UK market, nor would most others, so taking a hard line seems the right approach to me.
The EU had an opportunity to change, and keep us in, what they offered was 200% of bugger all. To me it showed nothing but contempt for Britain. As for BoJo, I think he meant he would not stand against Cameron by forcing a leadership contest. |

This was the root cause of the Northern Ireland troubles in 1968, the Catholic civil rights movement, and the marches, met by the B Specials, protestant boot boys in uniform, led to the disbandment of the force and the start of the more aggressive acts of terrorism which led to the Army being deployed, ironically to help the Catholics!

It seems Corbyn has moved rapidly to fill the 11 places vacated-I see Diane Abbott is in Health but that is no real surprise because a) she backed Corbyn from the start and b) she was a lover of his in his early days as an MP-quelle surprise! On a different note, but perhaps also important is anyone happy with the changes made to Outlook/Hotmail. I am working my way through it but I think they've made it more confusing and I also noticed that Invisible button on Skype(via said Hotmail) doesn't go green to indicate I am not there. Anyone else had problems or been frustrated? I read in the paper that the author of Fifty Shades E.L. James is set to sell more books than J.K. Rowling-more Hog-tied than Hogwarts perhaps? Not many people return Rowling's books as EL James I bet.

If Milo pulls this off, he'll show himself to have more balls than 90% of the men in the EU:
http://www.breitbart.com/milo/2016/0...ghetto-sweden/ "“Because it’s become dangerous to be gay again. Why? Islam. It hasn’t become physically dangerous to be gay in America because of evangelicals, because of Mormons, because of Zoroastrians. It’s not the fucking Buddhists, you know, that have got police out protecting gay pride marches. “It is Islam, and that is the case everywhere you look in Europe where Islam has had a huge influx. It’s in Germany, it’s in Sweden… Malmo, now the rape capital of Europe. They attack women, they attack gays.”" Then again, the emasculated SJW Swedes may declare Sweden a "Safe Space" and deny him entry.

At least England's football team have heeded the will of the electorate! They have accepted Brexit with out a murmur and are, as we all know, out of Europe!
