Can any of you folks put a name to this lovely lady?

Possibly a Ken Howard model who appeared a few times in later issues
of the mags. Can`t remember her name.

Lovely seeing Marie Graham posing on that log while she was wearing her white bra and panties, stockings, suspenders and shoes. Jenny Spencer has posed on that same log in open-fronted dress and showing off her underwear. Nicola Taylor has been on that log too. Must be somewhere in Hampshire. There used to be a scenic rock arch at Sidmouth. Would have been perfect for glamour work but collapsed a decade ago.

Re comments 2713 to 2716 by Tocofan and others.
TOCo publications were sold my WH Smith until the printers strike in the summer of 1959 which reduced the size of both Spick and span ,but not BB to 36 pages instead of 44. The price also went to 1/6 at about that time, May 59 and quickly to 2/- in Feb 60. II suspect that about the same time there were no more National Service conscripts and the forces were big buyers of TOCo and this ate into sales and profits. Within another year or so the reduced service demand saw, in Aug 1961 that all three Extras closed and a revived “Spick and span Extra took their place. Likewise 66 at issue 69 having been revamped in a very glossy page format at No 62 in Feb 61, and Funfare at issue 43 closed too.

After the strike WHS stopped selling them as did Wymans (taken over alter by Menzies). It had something to do with the Obscene publications act 91959?)which ruled that bare breasts and air brushed pubic areas were “art” so long as there was no accompanying text. Ben’s books publications like Stip Lingerie, Silky and Modern Fictions Charm etc and also Gay, 10-4, CCMR and others followed this rule and used many Valley Arts, Bob Robson H&C studios and other strip sequences.

One can only imagine that the WHS lawyers concluded that since TOCo had captions and commentary that they risked prosecution! AAH the good old days.

How seasonal. Not quite my type - too regal by half, but I hope this warms someone up. Usual tampering has taken place but with a light touch. Afraid I did not catch the ladies name ...
