We are dealing with a human population explosion threatening to overrun the planet. Thus, we are forced to fall back on our most favored form of population management, murder.

Abortion makes perfect sense in this schema. Those who would ordinarily care for and feed the budding humans for the prolonged period our biology demands i.e., their mothers, are unwilling to do so or to bear the inconvenience of several months of gestation and the pain and risk to their own lives of childbirth.

The problem with our current systems of jurisprudence is that we are not executing nearly enough felons. In fact, we ought to expand our program. Remember Steve Martin's proposal, "Death for parking tickets?"

Not really, my preferred program would also arm both sides in all insurgencies in the Third World and developing nations. Around 5,000 people per day starve to death on this planet. We need to greatly increase those numbers as the current rate is clearly insufficient.

Its funny, I'm the guy who says take their resources, hire the locals to mine them for us, teach them not to murder their women, etc, teach them about electricity, etc, because its cheaper in the end to do so, just like the old British Empire did, and I'm the bad guy, but the guy who says slaughter them outright is seen as the good guy.
That is the left in a action; killing babies, the old, and whoever else is seen to stand in the way of their sickened utopia.
