I don't know if beauty has held her back as much as poor judgement in the roles she chose to play. It is hard to give a good performance in a film with a crummy script. Face it, there are far more actresses availble than good parts for women.

It is really hard to judge her talent. She was supposedly very good in one role that was so badly butchered by a studio re-edit that the director had his name removed from the credits. These days even outstanding young actresses have trouble finding roles and must settle for doing nude scenes between the explosions.

Be that as it may, I believe that both Jessica Biel and Jennifer Love Hewitt have found their true calling as somebody's mom.
