Did anyone see the Cesc Fabregas dive to set a Sevilla player sent off?

Agreed. At least there is some honesty and sportsmanship in the game as shown by Lazio's Miro Klose last week: http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/soccer...4470--sow.html |

One Premiership record the club did not need. Just awaiting news of the fine.

Champions League Result
Spartak Moscow 2 Celtic 3 Think we can expect a certain Celtic fan to be very happy and very very pissed later, they now, for a couple of hours, top the group |

And in the death
As the last few corpses lay rotting on the slimy Thoroughfare The shutters lifted in inches in Temperance Building High on Poacher's Hill And red, mutant eyes gaze down on Hunger City No more big wheels Fleas the size of rats sucked on rats the size of cats And ten thousand peoploids split into small tribes Coverting the highest of the sterile skyscrapers Like packs of dogs assaulting the glass fronts of Love-Me Avenue Ripping and rewrapping mink and shiny silver fox, now legwarmers Family badge of sapphire and cracked emerald Any day now The Year of the Diamond Dogs "This ain't Rock'n'Roll This is Celtic winning away in the CL" A day off for me, so after two hours cycling back and forth in the bucketing rain (My mum had to be escorted to the hospital - she's fine), I jumped out of the shower with 02.25 Minutes gone. We were on the back foot but not looking too troubled. This has become a feature of Neil Lennon's time in charge when we are playing a team out-with Scotland. Width in the midfield. I'm not usually a fan of this style but when your wide men are Samaras and Commons, then you do have a chance. A Wanyama tackle in the middle, good run and ball from Lustig down the right, then Hooper on time with that one touch from which strikers make so much money. He's worth it for me. He ought to have scored a second goal on 30 minutes/ish but allowed himself to drift offside as he met a really sweet Samaras ball in from the left. Poor from Hooper, as he was farther away from the ball than the two defenders he was up against - as the net bulged to no purpose. Then two (Now Traditional) defensive mistakes, saw Spartak in front. No surprise. The game goes back and forth at a changeable pace until - on the hour - Hooper is clean through on goal, when one of two defenders brings him down. The ref then allows FIVE minutes to be wasted between foul - red card - defensive substitution - and our (poor) free kick. The rest of the game flows like you might expect - our players grow into giants, while theirs experience unexpected injuries. Often. We get a deflection to go 2 - 2, then Spartak set about shutting down. I could go on all night about our 89'th minute winner. Suffice to say that it was a genuinely sweet header from Georgios Samaras. Really. For all the money they have supposedly spent, Spartak are a good team - who could well beat us at home if we're not at it - but not a real, "Top" team. I was worried about the artist formerly known as Aiden MaGhinho, however, he was extraordinarily quiet. So much so that he got the hook. Still worth a watch at home though. Home and away against Barca' in our next two games. And they, of course, still require points in order to qualify. It's been a nice evening, but let's not get too carried away, eh ? Quote:

Looking forward to Zenit v Milan, then City v Dortmund. Looks like an excellent double header - Milan and City both in need of a result.

Newcastle 0 United 3
Seems the rumour of our demise has been exagerated Superb first twent minutes from us today, resulting 2 goals, both from corners (we never score from corners), a third cross come shot from Cleverley. After last seasons 3-0 defeat at Newcastle, and our current form I was dreading this game but our best performance of the season. (Even Evra had a good game) I notice Tony Pullis comlaining abot Suarez diving again today (Brendan Rodgers claims not have seen it) @ IngramJohn................ your regular thoughts and uplifting posts are missed mate, look forwward to you coming back to the thread on a full time basis |

My appologies for any thing earlier . I hit the wrong post.
Re Toon. We lost that match in the first twenty minutes. We were denied a Stonewall panalty. And it was a goal. However after our great escape aganst Everton. These things unfortunately happen.
