No idea what schools would pay for, or if they would pay anything - lead bullets would over penetrate to a lesser degree than FMJ, but I think most CCW holders would use JHP.

Regardless, gunfights on a plane are a very bad idea, especially if you are up near the cockpit. You might whack the pilot, or some vital instrument.

Regarding armed teachers, I just think this is a bad idea. Cops are trained for this, and have the mindset, while a teacher is... a teacher.

Imagine the outcry if a teacher accidentally blew little Schoolboy Johnny's head off while fumblingly trying to engage an active shooter.

If a cop did that, people would just go, "Hey, shit happens." Of course the kids parents would sue, but that's expected.

If a school had a cop assigned, and the cop's ONLY job was to break up fights and watch for mass shooters, and not harass the students with stuff like locker/backpack searches for drugs, I bet the libs would be OK with that.
