Changing the subject - although their modelling careers overlapped, I don’t think I’ve ever seen a picture of Debbie with her sister, Sheree. The thought just crossed my mind as to whether they ever did pose together? There were several p3 gals who did pose with their sisters, but I guess in those cases it was usually the ‘famous’ p3 girl with her relatively unknown sister.

I made a little research for you:

It's allways said, Sheree is Debbie's Sister, but it's the other way round: Debbie is Sheree's Sister since she is much younger. And I think that is the reason, why they definitely NEVER have been together on page 3. Debbie is more famous, because she had 34 appearances, Sheree only 8.
Sheree's Debout was at Fry 14. Oct 1977.
Debbie's Debout was at Fry 7 Feb 81; So you're right, the Quick Cover was published before her p@ge 3 debout.

Yes, I think you are right that (assuming they are sisters) because Debbie was the more famous of the 2 girls, particularly with regard to pg3 and then for being Julian Lennon’s partner for a while; Debbie, although younger, tends to get mentioned first.

I don’t know the exact dates of birth of either girl, but I believe Sheree is around 5 - 6 years older than Debbie, and preceded her in print by a bit longer than that, having first appeared in the Daily Mirror newspaper in 1973 - I think she might have only been 15 at the time! (She wasn’t topless, but was wearing a bikini.)

I forgot to mention, that all I said, is concerning the sun. Concerning Daily Star I might be more accurate soon.
About other papers I would be happy if someone can provide a database.


Concerning the "Sister question":
Maybe it's a coincidence they have the same last name.
I am the opinion they are sisters, but I forgot the reason why.
I hold it like this: For me they are sisters till proven the contrary.

Re. D@ily Star - if you can get hold of data on publication dates generally for 80's girls, I would be very interested regarding Carole-Anne, as my information on her Star appearances is very limited.

With regard to Debbie & Sheree in the Mirror, Sheree seems to have appeared 20 times - once in 73, the rest between Dec 77 and Feb 81, though we probably need access to the Mirror archives (assuming that ever happens! ) to confirm they are all her.

Sheree also seems to have appeared 4 times in the Daily Express during 1978/9.

Debbie, more prolific in the Sun, hardly ever appeared in the Mirror, it seems. Only 4 times
5 November 81 - looks like in a pic promoting a 'bingo' game they were running
2 August 83 - with Julian Lennon (while they were a couple)
4 February 86 - with Julian Lennon (possibly a story about him dumping her)
2 July 1986 - no idea, but not a 'glamour' pic. I think this may have been about a book she was (apparantly) writing.

From what I can see of the 2 pics with JL, although the ones below weren't taken from the Mirror, I believe these are the same pics that the Mirror used. 83 pic on the right, 86 pic on the left.

Okay not the best of pics. I have pretty much been offline since Friday as I have re-formatted my hardrive and changed some hardware. In the long painfull process I discovered an old file where I dumped pics of girls I was sure were Page 3ers, just wasn't sure of their names etc...etc... hence some rare girls I am suddenly posting ... (not that Debbie's rare - we can just never get too much of her!)
