So pixhost.org is permanently gone now? Or is is just temporary?

As good as gone given someone is doing the same to other .org imagehosts

Thanks to the hosts owners & forum efforts the existing pixhost .org bbcode in most cases
redirects to the pixhost .to site

pixhost .org was the first of several .orgs
that have had the same treatment

I wouldnt be using any host from now on that ends with .org


The only thing to be wary of is in some circumstances there will be posts that are still .org
or that revert back to .org - they give themselves away because they are blank

a right click on the quote button - change 1 pic from .org to .to
if a gallery was set-up you should be able to access all of them

today, after palemoon update, asking IHG to download a gallery, it freezed palemoon - Version: 27.9.1 (64-bit)
After several unsuccessful retries on different hosts, I decided to reinstall the IHG plugin, this time I discovered that imagehostgrabber.com is down !

Google is mute. Does anybody have information ?

It seems there is a problem with the domain imagehostgrabber.com. Either they forgot to pay their bills or they don't want it any more.

IHG insists on using the original file name, "e004b7849041444" or whatever, so viewing in name order puts all the images out of chronological order...

Sorting by date only works if you d/l image files one at a time ( i.e max simultaneous downloads set to = 1 ) - tedious! And it only takes a few files to fail to d/l first time to cock that up too.

The IHG intro page says that it's possible to alter this behaviour to ensure that files are displayed in true chronological order.

Does anyone know how this is done?

There is an option in the version I just downloaded from https://github.com/cblknittights/ImageHost-Grabber
(Tools->ImageHost-Grabber->Options)


When this option is checked, the images are numbered in the order they appear in the post, e.g.:

Ihg site is online again, but still after plugin reinstall, Ihg does not work correctly since palemoon update...

Which is the latest version I can find.

Have you

(1) restarted Palemoon
(2) Set the option to automatically update imghostgrabber's host file?

Both these have caught me out in the past!
