Cemetery of Terror (1985)
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0218088 After the death of Devlon a deranged serial killer and ignoring the advice of Dr Cardan (Hugo Stiglitz) who wants the body cremated, the police plan to bury the corpse in the local cemetery. The doctor thinks there was something more than just plain evil about the killer. It's Halloween night so a group of local yoofs ignoring the other choices of a rock concert and a "jet set" party turn up to what they believe is a party at an abandoned house. Strange that none of them queries where the party is but kids eh! They do however find an old book upstairs belonging to Devlon. The girls are pissed off at having missed out on proper parties and ending up in a creepy old house but the boys intend to take it further by stealing a body from the morgue and invoking the devil to bring it back to life. No prizes for guessing which body they steal. Meanwhile the doctor is racing towards the morgue having forged the judge's signature to get a cremation order. They perform the ritual with Devon's body laid on a tombstone when the heavens open, leading them to run back to the house for shelter. Soon Devlon is up and walking and as the three couples make out he heads towards the house. Devlon seems to be able to turn invisible and soon takes care of the six who brought him back to life and can now turn to the town as the people celebrate Halloween. A group of younger kids go into the cemetery, as you do on Halloween , only to run off in fear and find themselves trapped as all exits seem to lead back to the house where Devlon waits and as they try to escape again the more of the dead rise from their graves. A pretty decent last 30 minutes or so as the police and parents search for the missing children and the dead swarm the cemetery. Of course there is a twist at the end. https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x8hrvx9

Cyborg 2: Dark Shadow
1993 Angelina Jolie as an exploding android I've been ignoring/hiding from this movie SINCE 1993. Turns out, that by 1993 writing standards it was.... meh. Not awful, but... A total Bladerunner rip-off, except 1993 Angelina was prettier than ALL of the actresses in Bladerunner put together. By a long stretch. The main bad guy is.. meh. (Unknown/who-cares generic 80s business dork) Jack Palance is the narrator, and he's a hoot (you knew he would be). Our Hero, the Zero; again, who cares. Will Angelina the android explode when she cums? Toon in SciFi Dweebs and see. The actual villain, the guy who SHOULD have been cast as the Gunslinger, is hilariously awesome. (Billy Drago). Yes, I know he died in 2019. Go dig him up and cast him as the Gunslinger from DarkTower. I think Stephen King saw a picture of Billy Drago and said, 'Huh, there's the Gunslinger, I should write a book with him in it'. Billy is paint-chewingly great as the bounty hunter chasing our intrepid zeroes. He's totally underused and dies stupidly, because; Script. Actually, this could have been turned into a serial, where naked/almost Angelina runs around rescuing (who the fuck cares) X, fighting (who the fuck cares) Y, for a couple more movies. (I mean residunce eville has how many movies?), and an android Jolie can do whoopass on whatever for (who the fuck cares) Z reason, and get robot upgrades all along the way. See it. By todays standards, it's pretty good. Better than anything that's come out in a couple years scifi-wise. (better writing than anything disney at least).

Ghost Lake (2004)
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0382011 I got this film years ago but never got round to watching this so ... After taking her parents advice and staying out later than normal one night and having some extra curricular fun, Rebecca comes back to find her parents dead. Returning home after the funeral she is haunted by visions of her parents, but pretty soon strange things happen all seem to centre round a nearby lake and Rebecca seems haunted by a strange little girl who she first meets by the lake. Many years ago a town was flooded during the building of a dam and many residents died, that town is now deep under Rushford Lake. Rebecca starts to see the ghosts of people who died in the lake and the deaths seem to occur every 13 years. When the police find the bodies of all those who had died they start to believe what Rebecca sees and have to try and prevent any more deaths. It's a pretty confusing muddle of a film and not one I intend to revisit. Yet again no youtube trailer clip it is that obscure

Dellamorte Dellamore (1994)
AKA Cemetery Man Directed By Michele Soavi Something is causing the dead to rise from their graves as flesh-eating zombies, and cemetery custodian Francesco Dellamorte (Rupert Everett) grows tired of killing them all for the second time. However, the town politicians won't listen to him, so Francesco is on his own. One day, he falls for a beautiful woman (Anna Falchi) whose husband has recently died -- but their affair is tragically interrupted by zombies, sending Francesco into a tailspin of madness and woe. My Review : (A Few Viewing) A beautifuly shot horror movie that shows the descent into madness of a cemetery man that must kill again the recently dead atter 7 days. That movie also show imho the most beautiful breast in horror movies history in the person of Anna Falchi Theatrical Trailer Link Below : https://youtu.be/Au_LCRtRJaE?si=nOE7pdnP0BE8YxtP |

The Philadelphia Experiment (1984) - https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0087910 IMDb plot: A United States Navy destroyer escort participates in an "invisibility" experiment that inadvertently sends two sailors forty years into the future. [First Viewing] Average sci-fi effort looks very 80s and doesn't get full commitment from the cast, but the time travel element is enough to maintain some interest. Nancy Allen and Michael Paré don't exhibit much on-screen chemistry either. 5/10 |

From Beyond The Grave (1973)
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0070078 Another of the old Amicus portmanteau movies with an excellent cast in 4 separate stories and a linked section that ties them all together. Set around Temptations Antiques with Peter Cushing as the Proprietor of the store and the customers who purchase specific items that have an interesting back story. Each customer cheats him out of money in some way or other. Edward (David Warner) buys an old mirror that during a seance brings forth the face of its previous owner who he also sees in a vision. The face in the mirror encourages him to murder so he can feed off the victim's blood. Christopher (Ian Bannen) steals a medal so he can pretend to be an army veteran to compensate for his boring family life to build up his importance and impress a street peddler (Donald Pleasence) and his creepy daughter Emily (Angela Pleasence), nice twist at the end. Reginald (Ian Carmichael) buys a snuff box after swapping the price labels, nice touch as Cushing tells him "I hope you enjoy snuffing it" On the train home a psychic tells him he has a murderous elemental on his shoulder. Pretty soon strange things start to happen that threatens his wife so he calls on the medium to help. William (Ian Ogilvy) buys an antique door, he places it in their living room and with his wife (Lesley Anne Down) tries to imagine what used to be behind it. He finds out for real pretty soon that the room it leads to is a trap to catch souls. Between each section we see a thief trying to break into the shop who wishes he had tried elsewhere. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mDc1uSnH5nk
