Your wish is granted. The Mexican Army is immediately decimated, and Santa Anna is taken out by a 50 caliber sniper rifle as he rides away screaming on his horse. America occupies Mexico all the way to the Yucatan.

However, the appearance of these modern weapons spurs technological development, and there are jet bombers and nuclear bombs by the time of WWI - but Europe is still ruled by crazy kings and emperors.

In 1914, war breaks out, and the ensuing holocaust utterly destroys Western civilization. America is eventually visited and occupied by the Chinese, who find your ancestors as radiation plagued, disease raddled scavengers eking out an existence in a desolate wasteland.

I wish I had a huge mansion in Hollywood.

Wish granted,however, the real estate agent who sold you this house really pulled a fast one on you. He did not tell you that this mansion was built over an old cemetery, and not just any common cemetery, but one filled with dead murderers, pedophiles, rapists, serial killers, spree killers, in other words the boot hill of all of Hells's children. Since you paid in cash the agent left his job and is now taking up residence in Tahiti.

One night you and one of the many hookers you have your way with in many of the dozens of rooms in your huge mansion hear some strange noises; creaking, whispers, vibrations under your bed. Your honey wakes up and wonders what is happening, but you say to her it is nothing more than the normal sounds in this old house. You get on top of her and are humping away, but just then your door bursts in and a dozen bloody skeletons are in your room. Some have no heads, some have pieces of dead bloody skin hanging from their skeletal faces and arms. One of the skeletons says " You yokels have invaded our space for the last time, now you have to pay" and they hack you and your honey to pieces. Now you and your honey join the ranks of the dead that inhabit the house!

I wish my life expectancy could be extended to 300 years, that means I would be my same age now for another 250 years.

Your wish is granted. However, you get in a traffic accident and the other driver is a rich powerful connected man. His little daughter in the passenger seat is killed. While it's no one's fault, the rich man in a grieving rage sets out to make you take the responsibility. Strings are pulled, reports are falsified, and you are sent to prison. While there, your cellmate is mysteriously killed, and you are charged with and convicted of his first degree murder. Your sentence: LIFE... in solitary.

I wish I was in the International Space Station.

Wish granted, however, the other members of the space station have come not to like you. They find you arrogant, mean, insensitive, abusive, clumsy, smarmy,
late to your job every morning, unfriendly, and just plain dumb. They wonder why NASA sent you there. One day one of the Russian astronauts decides to do away with this insufferable American, and he tricks you into opening one of the airlocks while you are still inside. You are sucked into space, and your body explodes from the change in pressure. The next day at the breakfast table the other members of the station note your absence, and wonder where you are, and the Russian guy says. "That American nutjob left". The other members smile.

I wish that the 300 Spartans had not been betrayed by a goatherder in the Battle of Thermopylae in 486 B.C. Maybe they would have been able to last longer or been able to re-group with a much larger force of Spartans waiting in the wings.

Wish granted. But Greece at large is then able to consolidate itself against the Persians, forever. A united Greek state appears, and history is altered. Rome never arises, becoming instead part of the Greek empire. Greece goes on to create a stable empire for the ages, and the rise of Northern Europe and the Industrial Revolution never occurs.

In this history, you find yourself living in a peasant hut somewhere in Northern Europe, harvesting wheat by hand and paying tribute to a Greek overlord.

I wish I could eat free forever at all my favorite restaurants.

Wish granted,however, as a Master Ninja you are always being challenged by other lesser Ninjas for supremacy. One day you get into a battle with one of them, but you made the mistake of getting drunk the night before, and the lesser Ninja seeing that you are clumsier than usual steps in and cuts your head off with his samurai sword.

I wish that all supermarkets require customers to wear hospital type latex gloves before they handle produce. Any customer that refuses will be kicked out of the market.
