Imagehost Problems, Imagebam, Imagevenue, PimpAndHost, PixHost, ImgBox etc - Page 89

I'm having trouble recently uploading files to pimpandhost. Every second image (and it's literally every second, not two in a row or so...) uploaded with the VEF image uploader displays an error. Uploading them directly on the site seems to be working. Maybe it's my connection in conjunction with the VEF uploader...

I have no experience with the forum uploader. I have always used ImageVenue
which is easy to get used to and has always worked well for me. I believe ImageBam is about the same.

It just about sneaks in as OK for single images but is a nightmare for any larger posts. As others have said please try and use Imagebam or Imagevenue.

I've used the default uploader since I got here, but I tried one of the others after someone asked a question about it, and it seemed pretty easy to use. What stops me migrating from P&H is that, when downloading from other hosts, I often find that an image has been lost from the original post. To a completist like me, this is the most annoying message you can get. I'd much rather have to come back later to get all the images than have one lost to me forever, and PimpAndHost, even if it won't respond all the time, doesn't lose individual images like that. So can anyone recommend another host that doesn't nibble away at its galleries?

When uploading a set to Imagebam, it always takes the last picture of the set and puts it at first place. Is it just me? And if not: Do you manually change it back? Or is there any other option I just don't know?

I suspect it's not imagebam that is doing this but your browser. You can influence this through the way you select the images, using CTRL, right-click and the like...

I've tried posting to their forum a few weeks ago & had no joy - tried again last night...

ImageBams Forum has been messed-up for months now I seem unable to make a post there or even PM Flo

I can't find any other way to get in contact with them & looks like no posts have been accepted since mid July?
