The Brave search engine uses Bing but apparently now without the tracking.

It's OK and seems better than Bing via Edge so I guess that Brave are tweaking it.

But it does now have an AI generated summary answer to your search enquiry at the top (presumably using ChatGBT) which I always ignore.

No it does not, they removed all that spy stuff, they are big on privacy.
In my opinion it's the best browser out there, Vivaldi is great too.

No it does not use Bing

They do not use Bing, some time ago Brave aquired a tech company that was building its own search engine software, which they since developed into Brave Search engine.

That is true re learn something every day.
The YouTube review of search engines was very informative, seek good old Duck Duck Go is big on privacy BUT use Bing that's shit.

Any one else using the tab groups feature, I know Chrome has it but their version is very average, Braves is really good, this is my setup currently.

The last few versions of Brave have gone with rounded style tabs,
if you prefer the old square style tabs you can revert back, see link below.
