A slightly different spin on the thread- a woman who wasn't fired herself for posing nude- but her husband did lose his job...

In the early 80's, Dr Lyn Blackshaw was appointed headmaster of Dartington Hall School. Dartington was a fee-paying private school founded in the 1920's with a radical progressive ethos of education, and Blackshaw apparently wasn't happy with what he found there, soon sending a letter to parents claiming that pupils were indulging in sex, drugs and criminal activity.

Naturally, this soon reached the papers, but the solids really seem to have hit the fan when shortly afterwards, the press discovered that Blackshaw's wife, Beth, had appeared in Mayfair a few years earlier (some versions of the story I've read suggest that the Sun newspaper also got hold of a set of pics of husband and wife posing naked together). With the school already receiving so much negative press attention, Dr Blackshaw subsequently resigned.

It is one thing when a girl gets fired over her decisions and choices. In the end, I believe that she made the decision and should live with the consequences. But when her choices effect a family member, this is where I draw the line and say this is wrong.

Florida town manager Scott Janke fired over marriage to porn star wife Jazella Moore

Thursday, July 23, 2009

MIAMI - A town manager who married a porn star last year was fired at an emergency meeting after the mayor and council members learned about it.
Fort Myers Beach town council voted 5-0 to fire Scott Janke "without cause" after Mayor Larry Kiker called the Tuesday night meeting.
Kiker said he learned that afternoon that Janke's wife is an adult film star and the elected officials took the action a few hours later.
"At no time did we make a judgment call on the activities of Mr. Janke or his wife," Kiker told The Associated Press. "It's a matter of how effective he becomes after this situation. How much disruption there is."
In July 2009 the marriage made national headlines when the town council headed by the mayor Larry Kiker unanimously voted to fire her husband from the town management specifically because of his marriage to her, and the choice of her profession.

Lightbulb What a thread.

I have thanked more posts on this thread than on any prior threads in my 15 years of being on the World-Wide Web. I am going so far as to running the thread's base URL through Snipr.com so I can easily refer it into other sexpositive fora. {One on which I am on under this personae, FetLife, has several groups in which members query if they should pose for erotica.}
Over fourteen pages, there were some posts for which I need to reply. But I didn't mark down which replies they were, and I really don't want to go back through them again. (Have I mentioned I am still, yes, after 15 years, still accessing the Internet via a modem? Yes, really.) So here are set-aside paragraphs for them.

‘Beauty’ pageant officers using their positions of authority to gain something to which they are not entitled is so common it has become a stock porno plot! Patrick Riley calls it the casting couch scenario. It has been depicted in scores of movies worldwide: From a movie which probably many in V-E-F have seen, "Golden Girls, The Movie" (1983), to a Japanese Adult Video which probably none of you have, "Cosplay Females Deceived" (2003) (DVR-038).

Someone with whom I had on-line contact back in 1997-1999, and of whom there may be some of her videos referred in to V-E-F, Brandy Alexandre [a Mormon] {Her W-WW site was Kamikaze.org. It is no longer online.}, was terminated from her office job at Forest Lawn Cemetary in southern California when the cemetary learned she maintained this website where she discussed making her adult videos. The website never identified the cemetary!
I encapsulated the furor by scrawling, "Convicted felons buried on the property are not under the threat of exhumation."

Finally, if people are going to be fired for making bad decisions, then Bill Cosby should have been canned in 1987 for being the star of "Leonard Part 6".

Lastly; I apologize in advance for asking this in this thread; but is there a method to learn why DirtyDogg was temporarily suspended? Just which rule he ran afoul of would be sufficient. I ask this because I couldn't thank him for his posts.

'Florida town manager Scott Janke fired over marriage to porn star wife Jazella Moore'

I wonder how much of the council member's actions was just pure jealousy!

Cheerleader sues NFL team which fired her for posing in painted-on bikini for PB

By Daily Mail
Former Indianapolis Colts cheerleader Malori Wampler filed a lawsuit against the team contesting her November 15, 2010, termination by club. The cheerleader is suing an NFL American football team for discrimination after they sacked her because she was photographed in a painted-on bikini for Playboy.
Malori Wampler, 27, has filed the lawsuit against the Indianapolis Colts who fired her in November after the old photographs surfaced.
Wampler insists she did nothing wrong because she did not break the code of conduct issued by the Colts, which state cheerleaders must refrain from 'any act that will or may create notoriety.'
The photographs were taken before she was employed by the Colts, when she was working for Playboy magazine, and her private parts were covered in the images.
Wampler, who earned $100 for each game and promotional appearance with the Colts, did not pose naked for Playboy but did appear at golf events to promote the company.

The photographs came to light when they were sent to the club by a concerned fan.

Wampler is suing the Colts for race and gender discrimination because the Indonesian cheerleader claims white cheerleaders have done similar things without being fired, as have Colts players who must follow the same code of conduct.

'It’s an unfortunate situation,' Dan Emerson, the Colts’ General Counsel, told IndyStar.com.

He claimed the lawsuit had 'zero merit' but Wampler is demanding that the Colts re-hire her, pay her the wages she has lost in the interim, pay damages and compensate her for the legal costs of bringing the case.
The Indianapolis Colts are one of the games oldest and most prestigious clubs. Though they have been through a series of name changes and franchise moves over the decades, as the Dayton Triangles they were one of the founder members of the NFL in 1913.

They continue to be successful and last season they made it to the final of Super Bowl XLIV, which they lost 31–17 to the New Orleans Saints in Miami.
Among their roster of players is quarterback Peyton Manning, one of the biggest stars in the sport, who holds the record for most NFL Most Valuable Player seasonal awards, with four.

He is part of an American football dynasty as the son of former NFL quarterback Archie Manning and brother of Eli Manning, currently with the New York Giants.

Her lawyer is obviously trying to get this dispute away from contract law and into discrimination law. I’m assuming that the contract includes some sort of moral’s clause, possibly in terms of the club having unfettered discretion to fire anyone who engages in conduct, past or present, which could be deemed embarrassing to the club.

The first pic is the only one out there.

[QUOTE=DirtyDogg;1584872]American actress best known to television audiences for playing the title role in The Nancy Drew Mysteries and as vixenish Fallon Carrington on the popular 1980's prime time soap Dynasty.

Fired from her role as Nancy Drew after posing nude for PB magazine.

I remember that issue of PB. As I recall, none of these shots were in the layout. In fact, Pamela Sue Martin didn't show any skin at all. There was innuendo, but no private parts (breasts, bush, ass) were shown. Why she was fired is a mystery.

I remember it as well. There were a couple of revealing shots -- a bare breast with the nipple almost hidden by a live mouse, and the above picture.

Default Paige Duke, a.k.a. Miss Sprint Cup, Fired Over Racey College Photos

Paige Duke is now 24-years-old, but she is paying the price for something she did six years ago, when she was 18 and a student at Clemson University.

LANCASTER, S.C. - "I did not intend for anybody to see these and now I'm exploited," says ex-Miss Sprint Cup Paige Duke.
For the past year and half, 24-year-old Duke of Lancaster, South Carolina, has served as one of three Miss Sprint Cups. She traveled across the country nearly every weekend to NASCAR races and events as an ambassador of the sport.
Two weeks ago, a friend alerted Duke that naked pictures of her were circulating via email and She says, "These were pictures I had sent an ex-boyfriend when I was 18. This is the most embarrassing thing that could have ever happened to me."

A week and a half ago, Sprint terminated Duke over the . She says she was not offered a chance to explain the pictures, but understands she violated a morality clause in her contract. She says, "I lost my job, the best job I could have ever asked for, it was perfect for me."

A Sprint Cup spokesperson tells FOX Charlotte, "We'll all miss her and wish her nothing but the best in her future."

Duke's fans miss her, too. Two support pages have popped up on Facebook and the part time animal nurse's Twitter feed is full of supportive comments. Duke is spending time with her family and her two dogs waiting and praying, she says, for the next chapter in her life to start. "I just wanna set the record straight, I'm gonna own up to my mistakes. It's something I did, I've cried enough tears over it, I'm tired of crying, I'm tired of hiding from everybody."

Duke says she hopes young girls learn from her mistake. Her rule of thumb now: don't do anything you wouldn't want your grandma to see.

Duke was recently fired from her position as NASCAR’s Miss Sprint Cup after graphic photos of her surfaced on the internet. According to Paige, the photos were taken when she was 18 and she sent them to her boyfriend at the time, who was a member of the Clemson Tigers football team and is currently said to be playing in the NFL. The pictures were posted on a message board and Paige was promptly fired over the phone after holding a position on the Miss Sprint Cup team since the beginning of the 2010 season.
Paige has since come forward and admitted to taking the pictures during her college days. She claims that she was not offered an opportunity to explain herself, but admits to making a mistake and violating a morality clause in her contract.
For those of you wondering how this gorgeous young woman will make a living moving forward, we should inform you that Paige also works as an animal nurse

Former Miss Sprint Cup Paige Duke lands new job, feels like ‘victim’ after nude photos surfaced

By Kris Johnson

Wednesday, August 03, 2011

It’s been nearly a month since deposed Miss Sprint Cup Paige Duke lost her job as an ambassador for NASCAR’s top series. While Duke has landed on her feet professionally – accepting a job with Minnesota-based hunting and fishing supply company Kruger Farms – she remains conflicted in the wake of the scandal.
Duke was dismissed from her job as Miss Sprint Cup after nude photos of her taken in college surfaced on the Internet.
“I feel like the victim in this case,” Duke said in an interview Monday. “Ultimately, I know I took the pictures and I shouldn’t have ever taken them in the first place, and I did. So I know it’s sort of my fault. [But] it’s hard to accept being fired for something that you didn’t mean to happen.”
Duke said she understood the decision by Sprint to release her due to the morality clause in her contract. “I couldn’t be the face of a Fortune 500 company with these pictures out there. So I understood why they had to let me go,” she said.
But the 24-year-old is still struggling to come to terms with how things ended.
“These were pictures I took for my ex-boyfriend,” she said. “And that’s why I could live with myself.
“I know I’m a good person. I know I have a good heart. I have good morals, I do. And I know that was a lapse in judgment then but I can live with myself because I know what kind of person I am. So that’s why it was easier to tell my story.”
Duke is telling her story to anyone who will listen in the hope of helping other girls avoid the type of trouble she experienced. Duke said 95 percent of the response she’s received since her release has been supportive.
“A bunch of people on Twitter started saying, ‘I shared your story with my 13-year-old daughter, or, I sent your story to my daughter in college. Thank you for sharing your story. I know it took a lot of courage. But now I can use your story in hopes that my daughter will learn a lesson from you.’ Michael Waltrip said, ‘I shared your story with [daughter] Macy. Thank you for sharing it with me.’”
Duke continues to work with lawyers on getting her pictures, taken as an 18-year-old undergraduate at Clemson University, removed from websites whenever they surface. But she admits that process has been an uphill battle.
“It’s been hard working with the lawyers,” he said. “Nobody wants to work with me on a contingency basis because there’s not that many laws protecting people. It’s a gamble to go to court. ... You realize you can’t put the toothpaste back in the tube. Once it’s out on the web, it’s hard to keep fighting it.
“I can’t focus all my energy on that. I can’t worry about it every day and what websites are putting it up.”
In addition to working for Kruger Farms, where she’ll serve as national accounts manager, Duke will keep her primary residence in Lancaster, S.C. and continue to work part-time in a veterinarian’s office there. She will be at select races later this year working as an emcee for Skoal events at the track and be featured as a model in an upcoming Wrangler catalog. Duke is also appearing on Prime Country USA, a Nashville-based radio show.
A lot of doors have opened for Duke, but she is not completely buying into the blessing-in-disguise theory when it comes to the scandal.
“It will never be a blessing with these pictures out there, [and with] what happened to me,” she said. “It’s embarrassing, it hurts, I felt like I was exploited to the whole world, whoever wanted to see these pictures can now see me nude.
“People say publicity is publicity whether it’s good or bad. But who wants to be Googled and the first thing that pops up is Miss Sprint Cup fired for racy photos?
“I’d rather these doors opened up and these jobs came along just because ... not because I was fired as Miss Sprint Cup. So it’s a blessing with what doors have opened now, but I wish they wouldn’t have come this way.”
Duke said she would like to work in NASCAR – “I feel like they’re my family. I miss everyone” – on a full-time basis again in the future. But she has expanded her range of professional views to include possible work in other fields. She said Kruger Farms has plans to utilize her in a hunting and fishing show if a sponsor can be found and the concept can be sold to a TV network. She was scheduled to do some preliminary filming this week in Minnesota.

“Losing my job is the worst thing that could have happened to me,” Duke said. “I was hoping to do it for maybe two more years and see what doors opened from that. I’m thankful I had the opportunity and thankful for the people that I met. I’m not bitter about it. I hate that I lost it.”

SPARTA, Ky. – Paige Duke, the former Miss Sprint Cup who was fired from her job after nude pictures she took six years ago recently surfaced on websites, is willing to tell her story to just about anyone in an effort to teach young women the implications of having such photographs taken.
She also says she won’t be talking to, or posing for, Playboy or other adult magazines.
For the past 18 months, the 24-year-old Clemson graduate was one of three Miss Sprint Cup representatives, serving as a face in victory lane and as an ambassador of NASCAR and Sprint.
Once the photos, which Duke said she sent to her then-boyfriend, began appearing, Sprint officials informed her she would no longer be a part of the company’s program.
“It’s the hardest thing I’ve ever been through,” Duke said in a phone interview Friday. “I just felt hopeless. I felt like I didn’t deserve anything good to happen to me. I was shocked.
“I didn’t know what I was going to do. I didn’t know who was going to hire me with these pictures out there. It was devastating. For about a week, it was really tough. I didn’t leave the house. Finally, I just decided that I had to make something good out of this. … I can’t let these people win. I can’t let it control my life.”
Duke said she wouldn’t let what happened dictate her next decision as well. The publicity and interest generated by the photos won’t change her stance against posing nude.
Playboy began following her on Twitter on Thursday.
“I won’t do any kind of nude photos,” she said. “It’s a morality thing, how I raised. I know I will have to answer to the Lord one day, and I don’t want to have to answer for something like that.
“That’s why I realize what I did was wrong six years ago. I shouldn’t have been doing that anyways for a boyfriend at the time. But I did make a mistake, and I’ve made my peace with it.”
She said posing for Playboy would be hypocritical.
“Last year, I was saying the one thing I wouldn’t do for a million dollars, I wouldn’t do Playboy – it would be the most embarrassing thing for the whole world to see me naked and for my grandparents to have to see it or hear about it,” Duke said.
“I still wouldn’t do it. That would completely take away any type of story I’m trying to teach other girls: Don’t take these pictures if you don’t want the world to see them.”
For Duke, the message comes too late. The photos, which she says she took when she was 18, began appearing on a message board on the Internet last week.
“I meant for it to be a private moment between my boyfriend and I,” Duke said. “I was in love with him. I was naive. I wanted to be the object of his desire. I felt like I had to compete with other girls, and I thought that was the way to do it.
“And I realize now how wrong it was. I realized that a few years ago even after we broke up. But I never thought this would come back and affect my job.”
Instead, she discovered the photos could have a negative impact after she was told they had surfaced and alerted her bosses.
Duke said she violated a morality clause in her contract with Sprint, which only released a statement saying she was no longer with the program and wished her the best.
“I am sorry it happened. … I’m sad it happened, and personally I’m embarrassed,” Duke said. “I’m hoping the way I’m handling it will be a different type of role model for young girls to teach them lesson and take things head-on and admit your mistakes.
“It’s hard for me. It’s taken a lot of courage [to talk]. I felt like it was something I had to do. I hope I haven’t embarrassed Sprint. They’re my family and I’m sure it was a tough decision."
Duke said she doesn’t feel as if she did anything to sully NASCAR’s name.
“The whole situation is just embarrassing overall, but I don’t think I brought any embarrassment to NASCAR or anybody [else],” Duke said.
She said her lawyers are investigating how the websites obtained and published the photos and have gotten many of the pictures removed.
“I am going to try to forgive these people,” Duke said. “You must live a sad life to talk about people like this and be so cruel and so heartless the way they were doing it.
“They know this would ruin somebody’s life and intentionally putting it out there to say, ‘Look what I have.’ … The words they were using [on message boards] and the way they were questioning my morality, I feel like that was out there to hurt me. A lot of them had gone to Clemson, and I feel like a few them were doing it [because] people don’t like to see other people successful.”
The support from fans – two Facebook support pages have been created for Duke – as well as from those in the NASCAR garage have been encouraging, she said.
Currently working in a veterinarian’s office, Duke said she would welcome a chance to get back into NASCAR. She said she could work in the community, even though she knows several people saw the photos. She doesn’t worry what people will think about her and is very thankful for the fan support.
“I would love to be back in the sport,” she said. “Y’all are my family. … I’ve had texts from drivers, texts from pit-crew members, people on the teams that are like, ‘We miss you so much and nobody judges you.’
“Everybody is more sympathetic toward me. I can hold my head up high.”

You know what? She's right. She is a victim. She's the victim of her Ex, or whoever released those pictures into the Internet, of course.

But she's also a victim of Sprint and Nascar, who hired her because she's a gorgeous, sexy girl, hired her because straight men will want to fuck her. In short, they hired her for the exact same reasons as those pictures were taken: To cause hard-ons. It's hypocritical as hell to claim that she did something immoral by taking pictures to make her boyfirend want to keep fucking her when she was in college, while paying her to be the girl Nascar fans want to fuck at Sprint Cup appearances.
