That's true, and has been mentioned to me in this same/parallel context previously. I guess the question I'm asking you is: is your default position one of assumption, or one based on (currently avaialble) evidence? Do you start with the assumption that everyone could have started in the classic era until and unless proven otherwise--whether by d.o.b. info. or implausibility, or whatever? Or do you instead start from the position of: what evidence do we currently have?

If tomorrow evidence was found that Miriem had worked pre-1996 then fine, move her back to classic, but until then available evidence suggests modern, & by a distance of ~3-4 years. That would be an evidence-based approach to the problem, and the outcomes are pretty straightforward for all to see and understand. Are the outcomes equally as straightforward and understandable for all if the approach is instead based on presumption?

No, I'm not trying to make things difficult for mods. or to embarrass anyone, I'm just surfacing/explaining what seems like the logical basis of the question posed by the classic/modern boundary.

There are plenty of examples, some shown in this very thread, of people who mistakenly start duplicate threads for models/performers only in the wrong place (classic for modern or modern for classic). That would seem like clear/unarguable evidence that members are not inherently reliable as regards considering whether a model/performer is rightly classic/modern: many don't seem to give that much thought at all. So if we don't accept that for "second-comers" why still assume it for first-comers, when the (currently available) evidence shows otherwise?

My position is that I trust the OP is right, until I have reason to believe otherwise. Also, nearly all threads were started before I joined CP, and have been seen many times by other mods, not to mention members, and I trust them too. I don't have an option, really -- it's a question of capacity

In this case, the thread was moved to Classic Pornstars by the then head of Model ID Requests, so my assumptions must be: a) she's been investigated by our best sleuths, b) she did porn, and c) she's classic. That's more than enough for me

However, if you're saying the evidence says otherwise and she's modern, I can ask the Modern Mods what they think, which is what I've done. But I can't move the thread myself because it's their call
