My hair is bugging me today.
Too long for a cap.
Too short for a pony tail.

Unfair one sided terms and conditions.

Digitally (online etc) you have two choices accept the T's & C's or transaction over. In the face to face world you can explain what you do not accept and you might reach an agreement.

Am I the only one who finds the windows update ridiculous? You allow the access for the update, then the screen disappears, you get it back, it tells you it is creating a point, then it asks you to allow the upfate, then accept the terms, then it does the update, and lastly you have to click it to clear the update box!

Surely you have accepted every term they can create by installing the bloody thing in the first place! Why the rigmarole?

Working in the big city on Tuesday last. The place I was going to for a 10am appointment had a sign on the door saying that they did not open on Tuesdays until 11am. So I went to a nearby cafe. 7 quid for a bacon roll and a 330ml can of coke. Only had two small slices of bacon and the coke was warm. Bloody rip off. Or am I just getting old.??

BTW They did open at 10am they just had not taken an old sign down. BarStewards.

Do I have to say how simple it is with a Mac No

But to be annoying I will

You click on the small Apple Icon on the top left of the screen, scroll down to Apple Store, A window appears with the store for buying apps and there is also an update window option, click on updates, it then checks all your apps and operating system for any updates, notifies you which ones have an update with a description of the new update and it's features, you then may or may not choose to update any or all ...... The only annoying part is entering your apple ID .... a bit hard pressing buttons on the keyboard and when done, everything still works with no restart required unless it was for the operatiing system itself.

Did I annoy anybody Hope so

And if palo reads this, don't even start me, Windows is crap, check the help section for the W10 thread ..... I love reading it and it's horrors

Yeah, but you did not mention the fact that Apple computers cost at least 50% more than Windows computers. They don't even make their own printers. And many applications that run on a Windows computer won't run on an Apple!

Rupe ole buddy I get my updates and their installation done automatically and most of the time I never know I got them except for a message in Action Center.

3 things Mate,

1, The price .... One could say the same thing when comparing a Mercedes Benz to a Chevy

2, Apple don't make their own printers, neither do Microsoft, I've got a HP printer here that works with both Apple and Mcdonaldsoft , had no problem setting it up and works fine.

3, There is no app or program that is on Windows that hasn't got a Mac version or equivalent

Happy Virus catching

Well those who like IBM and the clones usually don't like Mac and vice versa. I will stick with my clone but that is because my son has both and I find the Mac is just not for me but my son prefers the Mac.
