Do any of the usual suspects ( Know-see, Moon Raker, Boyd, whoever ) have any recollection of a Channel 4 series of one off plays in 1987 / 88 called Tickets for the Titanic, the Titanic in question being a sinking Britain of that era. The episode I am interested in was called Incident on the Line, featuring Warren Mitchell and Alexandra Pigg in a kind of May to December relationship and in which she appeared topless and in underwear.
I was reminded having stumbled across some photos of Alexandra Pigg I was unaware of and this play is a bit of a Holy Grail for me. http://vintage-erotica-forum.com/t69...c-edition.html |

Tickets for the Titanic (C4 1987-88)
(Inclusive of above request)
Tickets for the Titanic was an anthology series of separate plays shown by Channel 4 in 1987 and 1988. It consisted of two series with three episodes in each. None of the stories had anything to do with the Titanic. The esoteric title was only explained in the S1E1 opening intro as follows:- "Looking at a Britain sinking in the eighties and offering something to keep the passengers entertained before the iceberg hits." Series 1, Episode 2: The Way, the Truth, the Video (1987) Andrea Wray Series 2, Episode 2: Incident on the Line (1988) Alexandra Pigg Pamela Keevil Series 2, Episode 3: Everyone a Winner (1988) Anna Carteret https://pixhost.to/gallery/InLV6 ++++++++++++++++++++ Some source data on Getty Images for Enthusiast's posted photo of Alexandra Pigg on a horse ... http://vintage-erotica-forum.com/sho...postcount=1436 ”British actress Alexandra Pigg photographed riding a white horse in the nude on 6th August, 1986. (Photo by John Stoddart)” It doesn't say if it was taken for a magazine article or if it was publicity for a film or some such. |

Alexandra Pigg - 'Letter to Breznhev'
This is a re-post as my original seems to have got lost. Alexandra Pigg gets her considerable tits out in the 1985 TV (C4) movie 'Letter to Breznhev' on this link:
http://vintage-erotica-forum.com/sho...postcount=2687 And you can also see her topless in the TV series 'Making Out' on this link: http://vintage-erotica-forum.com/sho...postcount=4482 |

Susan Fleetwood in Eustace And Hilda (BBC2/1977)
Eustace And Hilda was a 3-part drama shown on BBC2 in Nov/Dec 1977. It is an adaptation of a trilogy of novels from the 1940s by LP Hartley charting a brother and sister's lifelong relationship and mutual dependency from childhood to adulthood.
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0076005/reference/ In Episode 2: The Sixth Heaven Hilda (Susan Fleetwood) is sitting back on her bed in a guest bedroom at an estate house, where she and her brother Eustace (Christopher Strauli) were invited for the weekend, as their rakish host Dick Staveley (Tim Pigott-Smith) prepares to take his dues for the calculated charm and seductive attention he plied upon her all day - seen as her brother Eustace opens the door wanting to speak to her of his concern and finds them together and has the door brusquely shut in his face by the callous Staveley. Kamelia Nicol in Festival Theatre: The Rear Column (BBC1/1980)
The Rear Column was a play shown as part of Festival Theatre strand shown on BBC1 in 1980.
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0256318/reference/ The location of this single-set play is a military field hut in the Congo where a small group of late 19th Century British soldiers find themselves marooned by their orders for an entire year while awaiting the return of the explorer Henry Morton Stanley from an expedition. Kamelia Nicol has a small but credited role playing a native woman in custody in the hut for a misdemeanor during which time one of the soldiers (Simon Ward) occupies himself by sculpting a clay bust of her head. Kamelia Nicol (not on IMDB) If this seems familiar it may be because an extract of the scene appeared on this thread as part of the outtakes compilation "vt_miscellany02" (albeit with mismatched dialogue replaced over it for comic purposes). Now it has been identified I have updated the earlier vt_miscellany index post with the new info. http://vintage-erotica-forum.com/sho...postcount=3527 BTW: The original source of the irreverent version used on vt_miscellany02 was the British Forces Broadcasting Service (BFBS) 1983 Christmas Tape. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RVp5tBzA7uA @ 11:23 |

Aquarius episode: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt13990508/reference/ Kate Williams https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0931026/fullcredits Soon after this Kate Williams began her most famous role as one of the wives in the ITV sitcom Love Thy Neighbour (1972-1976) https://pixhost.to/gallery/bTZye |
