I'm thinking it is a browser/install issue on your end Headstrong. There's plenty o' users on the board that aren't having any issues with someimage.

Check this out, and let me know how you make out. You should be all good.

Default Problem handling "mp4.z0x"-files & "mp4.zip"-file

I tried to download a scene from a video and I had 6 links from the hoster FM (filemonxxxx).

As a non-premium member/user you have to go step by step because before you can begin you have to confirm each time that you are “not a roboter” (sometimes you also have to solve a picture puzzle : “select all the picture that show ...”). Afterwards you have to wait each time for 45 minutes to go on with the next file.

When I was ready with it I had 6 files constisting of 5 “mp4.z0x”-files (x from 1 to 5) and
1 “mp4.zip”-file but I was not able to put them together in order to create a single mp4-file finally. I have WinZip and 7-Zip installed and I tried back and forth but without a concrete result.

Who can help in this case ?

Please PM me just as an info when solved in this thread. Thank you very much in advance !

Title : problem handling mp4.z0x”-files & “mp4.zip”-file

I found out that I had to use WinRAR and it worked in one case. In another one the problem was a CRC-failure in 1 file so I had to start a complete new dl-project.

Question Downloading Image Files

Is there a way to download an entire image set all-at-once when only a collection of thumbnails is posted? I don't see any image archive files on this site where they're all put together and it's much too slow to open and save each one individually! Any suggestions?

Thanks!

There is a program called Bulk image downloader.
As a free user you will be limited in how much you can download in 1 day.

Site - http://bulkimagedownloader.com/

Make sure you download the correct Extension for your browser!

Default Picture viewer - Windows 10?

I am in the middle of changing from a desktop and a laptop - both running Windows XP - to a new laptop/tablet combo running Windows 10. On the basis of my initial experience I obviously I have quite a lot of overall learning to do but I'm sure I'll get there despite Microsoft's best efforts to make it difficult!

For the past 20+ years I have used the old shareware ViewPrint Pro as my default picture viewer. Its keyboard shortcuts are hardwired into my brain, and for all its shortcomings it still did what I needed with XP for everyday use (VEF and domestic). However, it has been crashing at times and failing to open many newer images properly - especially those of high resolution (and those with file names in other alphabets). My switch to Windows 10 prompts the need for me to switch to a new default viewer.

My wants are fairly simple, but include the need to view pictures from a folder randomly full-screen as an automatic or manual slide show, and to be able to retrace the random track when I wish. It is also good to be able to add comments to pictures and to perform cropping or other minor editing in the program. I generally do this by keyboard shortcuts where possible - with Windows 10 in tablet mode I guess it also needs to be do-able by touch.

Anyone have good experiences of picture viewers used with Windows 10 which they could recommend?
