How cool is Keith Richards?

Gotta say, Keef was always the heart of the band...not only a great guitarist, but tbh, he could sing it just as well as Mick. The guy is a walking survivor of lord knows how much excess.

Dude is and always will be a REAL rock star....not because of the excess, but just by being a badass. You can throw your Lady GaGa's out there, Beyonce, Jay Z, Timberlake, Kanye...they are all rank amateurs compared to Keith (and others like Jimmy Page) in terms of talent and in terms of not having to create or promote an image but just letting the music speak for itself. They created an image...but Keith *IS* the image.

He didn't mention seaside meat-beating in His book,but He is one of the few genuine legends Who is still around.Although just how He is still around is anyone's guess.

I wish someone could explain how giving yourself virtual brain damage, by excessive use of drugs is regarded as being 'cool', hes only so laid back because he cant react any faster.
