If You choice faith before reason, that is . Religion is a Placebo , if You think it work ,it will work. Also there are so many different religions that it is impossible that every religion is the right one and the true path to follow . "they" can't be right all together in this. So follow this religion and not that religion and you will go to heaven. and this is true for every religion , everybody sits in the good/right religion, all of them. that is not possible. this outdated system of keeping people together with the means of old books(bible,thora,etc) has to stop and this will be the next step in evolution . Now here come's the part why some religions are more scary then other religions. Islam is a world conquering religion which most spread all over the world.because when something is written in a holy book(any holy book!) it is the word of god and it is true so if it says: islam will be the biggest religion and the world get sharia. it is because it is the last religion according through god, sending this to his prophet Mo. because this is the last book (part3) it was the intention that the bible people and Jew's would accept this last book and so no problems. Islam believes in the bible and thora ,but thanks to book 3 there now the ultra super best people and have a place in heaven , not the christians and Jews , well in there own books it is the way around ofcourse , heaven and the others go to hell. luckily churches are closing because there are no followers in my country... No new nuns who think " hey that is something I wanna be " (last nun turns of the light of the chapel ) thanks to internet . information is out there. in stead of blind following some outdated book , try wikipedia . last rant : if you pray/communicate with god (duplex comms!) from earth to god it is oke and you are not crazy , but if god communicates back from heaven back to earth to anybody , he/she will go to an institution of the mental choe-choe crazy people next to the people who thinks he is napoleon.

They do have gun control in France but nothing like as strict as in the UK; and French gendarmes carry guns when on duty; some Municipal police do and some don't, depending on what the municipality decides.

Incidents such as this one are far more uncommon in Europe than in the USA, where everyone has the constitutional right to bear arms, and where spree murders exactly like this one are ten a penny. You are correct on your spree murder quote.. However you have forgotten one thing.
It is the evil people who obtain firearms that commit your spree murders.
And one more thing.
Millions of honest legal owners of firearms in America never spree murdered or harmed anyone today.
