I was looking at Rosemarie Hillcrest the other day and was pretty sure I could see the curl of some pubic hair in some of the shots.

Not all the picture we have access too now a days were released when the issues were published. My mom has told me during her photo shoot they took 100 pictures if not more. her issue featured like 3 or 4 of them I believe.

Playboy has said in the past it was Paula Kelly's pictorial that was the first time. I don't think the Jennifer Jackson pic was in the mag, was it?

So if you look at Ellen Stratton's December 1959 centrefold in the magazine the hairs visible through her transparent panties have been taken out. This was done by the printers it was not a photographic process so Playboy's digital versions are all pre-tidying up.

There is an argument for Susie Scott in her Playmates Revisited shot in August 1964. Is this more than a shadow?

Actress Joanna Pettett does have quite transparent panties in the Januaruy 1969 issue.

The first unequivocal, non-covered, fur-flashing pussy was one no-one has mentioned: Britt Fredericksen from June 1968 as you can see from the top of the opening page of her pictorial.

The December 1970 issue was full of pubic shots in pictorials of actress Paula Pritchett and an art photopgraphic piece called The Classic Woman which included four non-covered pubic shots. All the month before Liv Lindeland's shot.
