I've found AntVideo Downloader (Firefox) usually does the trick.
Sometimes I come across a pager where it doesn't work. |

I don't know of any free programs that will capture everything. I use Replay Video Capture 7. It records the stream as it's played.

Maybe better way to state my point: DL as everyone uses it means copying the host file. Not same as viewing it. Although both can be done at same time.
Copying does not work if host blocks access. What OP needs is something that creates a new file from what he views. And deals with any code issues. Can/do any of the recommended's do that? PS Meaning it is not copying a file but creating a new one? ?

Think you can do a lot with VLC. There are a few tutorials online (like this one), but it's hardly just click and work. Lots of trial and error. |

If you reeeeeeaaaaalllllyyyyyy want to know it's some thimg like this.
1. when you first start streaming the video the site redirects you and issues an authorisation cookie The redirct url is this one: http://s04.jbvideo.com/m/r/stream/c3Vic2NyaWJlcklkPTBfYzJsMFpVbGtQVEUuJm9mZj0wXzc5Mz YwJnR5cGU9cyZ2ZXI9MCZleHA9MTQxODA4NDAwMSZzZXNzaW9u SWQ9MCZjb250ZW50SWQ9TVNNMU5EZzQmZmVlZElkPTAmYml0cm F0ZT1ZbWwwY21GMFpTTnRaV1EuJmNsdXN0ZXJJZD0wJnJ0b2s9 MGU1NGM3MjczODhhZTU5YmRiNWI0ZjdiNmMyYjEzOGEmbT0x/jFhhl7vLT0GPsR3KQvCuJg../clip_01c7dc3b.xml I've highlighted the "base" of the redirect url in red. The cookie bit is after the url. I've highlighted the session cookie in blue. And finally the actual filename comes at the end. Ive highlighted the file name in green. Now the minute the video ends the cookie becomes invalid. For example if you were to click on the link it will tell you that your session is expired and won't allow you to see anything. So here's the trick, I think it can be done. I can see the streaming data as it passes to my computer by analysing my networks http traffic. That alone tells me that it is possible. There is information coming from that website to my computer whilst the video plays. I am assuming that it is the video's data stream. However none of the tools that have been suggested seem to be able to capture the stream. I can see it, but it seems the tools for some reason can not. My only other option is to try a program that sets up a proxy at the "gateway" to my computer and records all traffic that comes through it. Unfortunately the program cost $59.95 and only works if you are using wifi. So thats $60 for the software, $25 for a membership to the site and $20 for a wifi card. $100 to download videos I've already paid for. I don't know if I'm upset enough to go through all of that but if I do get angry enough I probably will. And afterwards I'll download every video they have and post them here just for the aggravation. Thanks for the help guys, if anyone has any better solutions I am definitely open to suggestions. |

http://www.freemake.com/ Give it a shot. It might work for what you want but I can't guarantee that as I'm an amateur in this stuff. |

I can recommend that too - and the free version of this software allows up to 2 minutes to be copied into a video file (e.g. AVI or MPG) so that is fine if it is just clips that are required rather that complete shows or movies. It will indeed copy anything and it is easy to use.
