IMHO there are problems with/at the imagehosters as well: on several attempts even single images can not be downloaded......

also here patience is to be needed, unfortunately .. all to do for now is look onto and enjoy and try to download later....

= requests will be rejected so the server stays online

Imagehosts are no different

Only advice for mine is to download in smaller portions gives a better chance
You can reduce to 5 posts per page in user cp / options
and turn off signatures to avoid unwanted junk images

An entire thread is on too many servers which could be under stress to ever get everything all at once

Thats all before you factor in none of the bandwidth is being paid for when auto ds are being used - that comes at a cost

I'm looking for a good bulk image downloader for Chrome. I used to have Firefox as my browser and had a terrific one but Chrome's image downloader doesn't seem to work. Anyone know of a good one for Chrome?

I figured out why it was no longer working, after one of the updates I needed to tell it to load cookies from Firefox if not launched from a browser context menu (at the bottom of the config screen). I don't recall having to do that before.

Buttsie's comment about server netiquette is well-taken though.

I was adding signature images to my IHG blocklist manually as I noticed them. Is there a way to do that with BID?

It would be better if signature graphics weren't allowed on VEF imo, although I suppose they are stored on this site and not the image hosts.

I must put in the good word for Teleport Pro.
I'm still on a v.92 modem, and Teleport Pro has helped me numerous times at {ahem} harvesting W-WW sites with free erotic images.
It has a learning curve. You may want to reduce the number of <10 kb {thumbnail} images you download. But when you learn it, you can configure it to run, and go away from your computer for hours while it rips away.
It is only for Windows computers. You just might be able to find a registration code for it somewhere out here.
