Simple. The generation that was around when she was PM and indeed their children will have swallowed whatever the prevailing view of her was. Myths will have been promulgated and lies told. If a girl's mother should warn her about men like Donald Trump (or Bill Clinton - this isn't a political point), then a boy's father should warn him about girls like Hope Hicks.

The very little I have seen of her talking on the news tells me her voice is rather pleasant as well. To summarise:

She is ravishingly pretty, great figure, very stylish in appearance and even walks like she's on a catwalk - well she started out as a model so that's not so surprising.
Her voice is pleasing and her manners are impeccably lady-like. I don't think that's accidental - I think she was raised and educated to be that way. This young woman is a lady and oozes sheer class from her fingertips.
In an administration which is leakier than the Titanic Ms Hick's loyalty to the President, however misplaced, excites in me a reluctant respect, even admiration. It seems that honour among thieves is still a thing. Yet I would bet good money that whenever she did occasionally answer a straight question from the Congressional committee her answer was truthful; she is no dummy.
