You not been reading any recent Scottish polls then?

Regarding the wankfest tory leadership contest. The doddering old bigots who will choose theirs and our new glorious leader are a bunch of rockets as another recent poll showed.

When asked if they'd rather see Scotland leave the UK or miss out on brexit, 63% of actual members of the Conservative and UNIONIST party said Scotland could leave.

When asked the same question with Northern Ireland leaving instead of Scotland, 59% said NI could leave.

When asked if brexit caused "Significant damage to the UK economy", how many would still be for it. 61% voted yay. (remember the conservatives always claimed to be the party of business, the economy and wealth creation).

When asked (and this is a belter) if they would rather brexit took place even if - The Conservative party being destroyed. Conservative party members voted 54% in favour.

*****

So there you have it. Our next leader will be chosen by a bunch of demented fuckwits who couldn't spell 'EU' let alone tell you where it is and what it does.

That's what reading the Daily Express does for you.

Back to Scotland. Boris either has to sign a deal with the EU, in which case Farages brexit party will have an influx of tory members and the tory party dies as Farage rises from it's ashes or he puts his tory party first and goes for a no deal, causing significant economic and political damage to the UK.

Either way Scots are not going to be happy living under Farages right wing Britain or remaining in a busted flush UK that has sold it's NHS to the American corporations.

I live in the damned place and I can find no poll which shows a majority for independence - the closest is 49% - 51%

The first sign would be if Ms Sturgeon were to repeat her odious tour of the EU governments and start lobbying again for special treatment for Scotland on the grounds that Scotland has been a good boy and it is the naughty English who let everyone down.

Then there would be the public bleating that the Scottish people never voted for any of this and that it's time they were no longer shackled to the English. She generally refers to "Westminster" to make it sound less racist.

Meanwhile, she is a bit hampered by the lacklustre performance of her own executive. Since 2015 she has been the Scottish government, in coalition with the Greens; she has not been impressive. The SNP are a party of shit-stirrers and malcontents, a bit like Corbyn and the Labour left; and that doesn't work as well when you are supposed to be the ones in charge.

The naughty English have let everyone down including themselves.

You take Nicola Sturgeon too literally btw. Threat of another referendum is a bargaining chip and nothing more.

Please stop reading The Telegraph.

Which is why I suspect the Corbyn-led far left Labour Party will win our next election and we will get another five years of government from chippy shit-stirrers.

They're not far left btw but if by 'chippy shit-stirrers' you mean another minority government then yes.

No Frank, quite right as ever. Corbyn and his handlers are not at all far left. Ooops another pig just flew by.

Far left would mean Communism. The left of Labour aren't Communists. They're only just about socialists and Socialism isn't far left.
