Is it the silly season in Florida?

Samsung does have a duty of care to their customers as all manufacturers do - simple product liability. But what breach of duty are they supposed to have committed? Where in their user instructions did they say that it is safe or advisable to insert this mobile phone into your body cavities? In the absence of a comment either way, how can it be inferred that they implied such a ridiculous thing?

I am not in favour of eugenics as a positive policy but I must wonder whether a finding in favour of this plaintiff will work against the improvement of humanity in general.

Defeated yes, but they both linger on in the background and are unlikely to ever go away. Assuming we don't wipe ourselves out before much longer, I would suggest there is every chance of these evils returning in large scale form at some point in the future. Most noticeable was the first weekend without bombs going off and other noises from fireworks-I think people have got it out of their system now, at least I hope so and we can all now concentrate on Chanukah and then Christmas. Don't you just hate these bloody adverts with the perfect Christmas family thing-sheesh! nothing could be further from the truth!

As I was driving home from work I noticed that somebody had tied the EU flag to one of the bridges over the A34.

There's a large East Europe, especially Polish, contingent in the area - I used to work with quite a few and they're pretty much all pro-Europe.

As an aside, they're also pretty much the best folks I've ever worked with - rarely complain, eager to work, bright, and happy to intergrate with the Brits.

Don't know if you've noticed that idiot that hangs around College Green near the Houses of Parliament holding various placards and an EU flag-not that you could miss it as he always in shot for various BBC News interviews live. I feel sorry for the cameraman and the director who keeps shifting the picture to stop him being in shot.
