After 'Radio Active' Angus Deayton achieved greater fame as a TV presenter, most notably on 'Have I Got News For You'. Geoffrey Perkins went on to work as a producer on a number of sucessful TV shows, most recently the latest series of 'Harry and Paul', before he was tragically killed in a road accident earlier this year. |

I had forgotten about Andy Gibb (sometimes, ignorance is bliss). Of course, Andy was never a member of the Bee Gees. It was just Barry, Robin, & Maurice Gibb (along with their friend Colin Peterson and another guy in the 60's).

No contest, hated Gary Glitter even before he was exposed as a major league child molester.
He came to our village pub (which had a hall attached) just as his first single was bring promoted. I was serving behind the bar. He was sh!te and was lucky to get away without the good kicking he truly deserved. The Glitter Band came back some while later without him and were passable. Amongst others Shakin' Stevens also performed there and we let him go without too much abuse but he also was cr4p. |

As Rick in "The Young Ones" once said:

One modern name has just sprung to mind, the lead 'singer' withe Razorlight, ladies and gentlemen, I give you....Johnny Borrell. A grade-A arsehole. Can't sing, can't write, what does he do? I tell you what he does, sings a load of bombastic shite badly.
The other night mrs Sydney wuz on t'internet so I ended up watching B.B.C.2. Razorlight were performing, I know.. I should have just turned over, but I didn't and had his whining voice going over and over in my head the next morning. The horror, the horror. |

I have heard of Razorlight but cannot register that I have ever heard them. I am sure I will live to regret this, but I think I should check him/them out. |

Then there's Jos Stone with her perceptive views on Live 8:
'I don't really know what its all about but Bob [Geldof] says its very important' Oh, and while I'm at it, it was Geldof who told all the third world bands to piss off to the Eden Project with Peter Gabriel |
