Almonds are supposed to be good for you but coconut contains saturated fat.

They put coconut juice, almond juice, soy juice in the cow milk dairy section of the supermarket and label it as Milk and advertises it as Milk and touts their health quality and benefits to be the same, as good or even better than cow Milk.

That's the problems and issues the Dairy association and Milk producing farmers have with it.

So......the objection is that people are going to fooled into believing that it's growth fluid that came from the mammary gland of an almond or a coconut to feed its young, because it's called 'milk'? Is this a cause of confusion for anybody?

What, that it's competition? Of course they have a problem with that. I imagine they'd rather that no other products were available except their own, so people had no choice about buying it, but that's just tough titty. You put like products together so that people can choose for themselves. Coca Cola and Pepsi are next to each other. Butter and margarine are next to each other.

What do you guys call the liquid that comes from a coconut? 'Coconut fluid'? 'Coconut blood'? Coconut milk even has it's own wikipedia article.

Coca Cola and Pepsi are both sodas.

Comparing Cow Milk to Coconut Milk or Almond Milk or Soy Milk, is comparing Apple to Oranges.

They are not the same family of products and only one of them, the Cow Milk, is a Dairy product.
