site issues in Opera 16.0.1196.80
Recently I found out that I cant browse the site in Opera browser. I am posting this message while using SeaMonkey. I do use a VPN and SSH Tunneling to reach the site since the country's censorship proxy blocks adult sites. Now, I can reach threads in Opera if they are bookmarked...But I cant reach main sections, or the forum at all...
any advice?! thnx *edit* This is what I see when I try to reach the site |

Can no-one help pr0n4h3r? Surely someone has Opera?
After having read the list of 'incompatibilities' of firefox (java, vlc player etc. etc.) which someone posted a link to in a post (I think) in 'What annoys you the most' (to whoever it was: thanks.) I was thinking of moving to Opera, so I'd like to know about any problems there may be. I am in the middle of doing a search for posts about the Opera browser, so if there's any info I can find I will post a link to it for you, pr0n4h3r. pr0n4h3r, I've just found the 'official' Opera thread here "The Opera and its Extensions Thread": http://vintage-erotica-forum.com/sho...era+Browser%22

Just tried it in my Opera (which I use as a secondary browser) and the forum works fine.
Firefox has been my main browser for like 7 years and never had any trouble browsing sites. Curiously, Chrome is the one that pissed me off several times. So, regarding incompatibilities blaming one browser and moving to other browsers because of that, bottom line is, it has nothing to do with browsers. Most of the times it's something else. Seany65, just read pr0n4h3r post, he mentions Seamonkey, VPN and SSH tunneling, a very uncommon set-up, which will likely cause uncommon problems; before jumping to another browser, make sure your browsing problems aren't caused by your set-up. That's the cause 99% of the times. |
