Britains entry was awful. They finished exactly where they deserved to, nothing to do with politics or a stage intruder.There was plenty of good songs austria, australia, estonia, cyprus, ireland etc. Israel song was stupid. The problem with eurovison is they spend for ever on the jury votes a bunch of middle age clowns that havent a clue and no time on the public vote i.e. kids that sms. The silent majority that watch it dont get a say. Australia was the best performance on the night and austria was the best song.

Mind you this years security needs to answer a lot of questions! A man with a RUCKSACK storms on stage and starts shouting at everyone? Even if he wasn't carrying a weapon you've only got to look at last years Manchester attacks to see how dangerous things like that can be in this modern world.

We may not have friends, but that song didn't deserve any. I certainly wasn't its friend.

I would like to be friends with Azerbaijan though. Any of them, I'm not fussy.

The singer has a Brit Award to, for writing another top tune from a couple of years back.... I couldn't be bothered to look it up, or his more famous brother?

Damiano David: Eurovision winner denies taking drugs during event

Måneskin's Damiano David rejected the idea that he had been taking cocaine.

"I don't use drugs. Please, guys. Don't say that really, no cocaine," he said at a press conference.

In a statement, Eurovision said the singer would "take a voluntary drug test after arriving home".

Måneskin, who had been favourites to win the contest, took the top prize with their song Zitti e buoni.

People at home speculated as to what the singer was doing when he appeared to bend his face towards a table as the band celebrated their victory during the live broadcast.

When asked about the incident during a press conference after their victory, Damiano David said he had been looking down because guitarist Thomas Raggi had broken a glass.

Eurovision said the singer would be tested to see if he had taken drugs.

"This was requested by them last night but could not be immediately organised by the EBU," the statement said.

"The band, their management and head of delegation have informed us that no drugs were present in the Green Room and explained that a glass was broken at their table and it was being cleared by the singer. The EBU can confirm broken glass was found after an on site check.

"We are still looking at footage carefully and will update with further information in due course."

The band later also reacted to the allegation in an Instagram story, saying they were shocked and did not condone drug use:

"We really are AGAINST drugs and we never used cocaine. We are ready to get tasted [sic], cause we have nothing to hide."

By the same token, no one bothered to vote for him. He was just bland and boring and deserved zilch points.
