Anyone set up for transferring VHS-PAL to AVI (or digital file - DVD) ?

I have improved a bunch on getting quality transfers from VHS to AVI, although my player can't handle PAL format.

Is anyone out there set up to transfer a rare, adult VHS - PAL format to a digital file (AVI, MPEG, DVD, etc) ?

I'd like to discuss options here or via PM.

The nice looking VHS with box art is a hard to find Keisha title, basically "le education d' Anna" or "Skin 3" which she did over in Europe. This one is the Italian dubbed version called, "Iniziazione Di Vergine".

Dunno if you've thought about it or not, but for between $10-$20, there's
a ton of services here in the states that will do that for you. Considering the
price of shipping these days, that's not too bad a deal, considering that if
you live in the states, most likely anyone volunteering to do it for you here,
would be overseas.

Yes, I regularly transfer PAL VHS to DVD and then encode them. However, I'm in a PAL country, and my player handles both PAL and NTSC VHS.

Thanks for the replies, one of the members here is volunteering to give it a try. He's in Australia. I would do the statewide conversion thing except I don't want any do-gooders knowing about it being adult related material.
