Any Advice to help with Animated Signature Gifs
Need just alittle help if its possible please, you know the feeling when your heads spinning. When you get to the point when its about time to ask for help, I think im at that point.
I have created an animated giff for my signature, followed guidelines and specifications which was read in my signature options. Looked to notice if i could Upload Images for Signature & could Upload Animated GIF for Signature both said yes. When I try all the ways possible to upload the animated gif as my signature it appears as a "still image" with no animation. I've tried making the image as small as I can, way less than 10kb but with still no luck, tried uploading the giff on a gif compatible image hosting site, image worked great on that hosting preview but when I copied the url address where it required it in my options, I ended up with a invalid file message. I then tried to search the net, I was out of my depth, tried looking within VEF using search, was a mention regarding avatar gifs but unfortunately no help was given for animated Signature gifs. Would it be at all possible please if anyone knows any new ideas to try or can point me in the right direction, it may be the case that others have experience and knowledge that I sadly just dont have regards this topic.

How I do it
There are only some gifs I use due to their small size (both pixel & bytes) but I use Pimp&Host for these.
select the 3rd option for codes (BB forums full image code) and copy that into your signature. If you want to make it 'Unclickable' remove the first section with the square brackets[] and the last part [/URL] |

Cheers NIN, I really do appreciate your help, unfortunately im having issues with pimpandhost with my browser, even downloaded the plugin saves as .xml when i double click that, it just opens up with coding.
I may just be having a dumb moment though, head still spinning. I try to click on options on the pimpandhost site but nothing happens but then again i may need to register on that site in order to use it I think. |

It is best to open a free account with P&H, then you can log-in to your files,
most people have issues with Pimp&Host , you're not having a blonde moment , it is a very different system to most other hosts. Imgbox & ImageBam only supply code for a clickable thumbnail (as far as I know) and ImageVenue have no facility to upload gifs at all. I think it is possible with http://**********.us/ but i'm not certain /EDIT obviously not I'm afraid I'll have to pass & hope that other members can help fill the void (which they will) Last edited by NIN; January 4th, 2014 at 11:42 PM..
