Not that i was paying too much attention to the server numbers as the database seemed all over the place with slow loading imagebam numbers

Quick look at the galleries i was checking daily - 101 across the board

Theres some sort of hope as this post was stone dead awhile ago

30/3/17 - mixture of 101 & 117 (Now 7 dead out of 80 - all on 101)

Now that this Ibam and Ibox issue seems to be behind us, I am back to primarily using Ibox as my image host.
While Ibox does have its minor limitations, what I like about them is that I find that they have far less "breakdowns" than the other hosts ... and especially that they do not have all those animated adverts and other crap on their pages when opening/viewing a thumbnail like most of the other hosts do -- which I feel detracts and distracts from viewing the images.

I notice some members are still posting Imagebam hosted pics. Has there been a change in their policy or are those going to disappear after awhile?

They are and hopefully will stay alive and are currently moving/upgrading their server architecture...

Is there an daily (or hourly) upload limit on imagebam? I've probably uploaded a dozen or so images tonight without a problem. Now, all of a sudden, anything I attempt to upload fails. It gives me several pages of php errors.

edit: Maybe it is just a timed thing... I'm able to upload stuff again, so all's good (for now at least).

Probably smart to test a post manually before blindly using a down load manager

The give away signs for a server under stress is a blinking message saying
looking up that returns a blank screen where the image should be

As for downloading threads - smaller batches - option of 5 posts per page via
user cp / options / thread display / would make more sense
than trying to suck them all in one go

PS spoke too soon 1, 9 , 10 , 13 showing same signs in vanda vitus post 1

Earlier today I was downloading some of the nice scans by tomekkruger from Playstar (Pol), 1993 magazine here, but now, just a few hours later, it seems all the images (on P&H) are replaced by the message "Image removed", although the thumbs remain.

It is not just that member's posts. It also appears with some other posters, e.g. here & following.

Hmm, but not with the images in this test thread.

Perhaps just a coincidence?
