Noticed my left eye felt bruised this morning and boy does it ache when I blink-not sure what happened but added OPTREX to it several times which seems to soothe it but I hope it is nothing serious. Had a lot of rain today which is needed especially as our water supplier reckons we should be conserving water. They don't draw water from a reservoir but do from an aquifer, which is low by May standards-why the smeg should we pay for their stupid oversights-draw it from a reservoir you idiots!! It was a fine speech by Richard Taylor, the father of murdered child Damilola and the drama based on it won last night's BAFTA award for single drama. It was just a shame that another stabbing was reported that day. When will today's youth realise that taking a life with a knife is both cowardly and leaves the families' lives shattered.
