I guess back in the pre-digital days when you had to hand a roll of film into a chemist or photo-lab for developing, the majority of women were reluctant to pose for any naughty snaps other than an odd topless shot whilst on some sunny beach when on holiday.

Thankfully the digital era has changed all that.

Since the advent of the digital camera, and the explosion of internet porn, it never ceases to amaze me how much the tide has turned and just how many women are more than willing to pose for the camera and post nude, or even, porn action images online.

But this also leaves me wondering as to whether the endless number of women who so openly display their beauty across an equally endless number of websites, blogs etc is merely just the tip of the iceberg.

Has the digital era released the shackles of inhibition for women across the world? Especially when back in the days the need for external photo processing was a good enough reason not to pose. However, the fact that a half-decent image can now be achieved anytime and anywhere with the camera on your phone now leaves me wondering if this has now enabled women to be free from these inhibitive pressures and freely strip for the camera?

I think this was more true a decade ago. Before people really understood how the internet worked. How their images could be spread everywhere. Before social media, before we knew cell phones and email accounts could be hacked. Once it's out there you can't take it back.

There's still a lot of public shaming going on especially in Western culture if it's found out you have sexually explicit photos online. Furthermore employers are known to fire employees based on the grounds what you do in private can have a negative effect on the company.

Then you have the revenge of the Ex. A girl who posed nude for her boyfriend and trusted he would keep them private could find those images online after a breakup. States are even passing laws making that illegal.

So I think the freewheeling days were short lived as women in particular become more aware of the drawbacks. I think more women know unless porn is your livelihood, it's best not to do it.

We lived together before we were married and early on my then girl friend amazed me by asking me to take pictures if her. She said she wanted to see what she looked like in a new suit she'd bought for her job in a bank. I thought this was odd but agreed - I was slow in the uptake because she then asked me to keep taking pictures while she stripped off. It was great. I eventually found somewhere to send them to be developed and she was really turned on by the whole process. So over the next year or so we did more. But this is all pre digital. I still have them and from time to time we get them out and reminisce. But I think pre digital made girls more likely to pose as the results weren't sent all over the place at the click of a button. We were very lucky as her fun with photos went a stage further when she saw an advert in the local press for scantily clad waitresses for a stag night. She rang and apllied and went and saw the best man organising it who wanted a couple of waitresses nude except for stockings and suspenders, bow tie and cuffs, and high heels. We didn't think we would hear again as other girls had applied as couples. Then very shortly before the event he rang and asked if she was still interested. It turned out the others had let him down. She really wanted to do it. As the event was the next day we didn't really think though the risks. But it was all pre digital and we struggled to get any pics from any attendees so we are mainly left with memories. This was early 1990s at the Marie Antionnette at Kingston so if you were there and have some pics ..... And after that the habit of nude pics just dwindled away really.

My wife had nude photos taken of her before we met. she showed them to me on our second date. the guy who took the pictures was somebody she met in a bar. She said he took two roles of film of her. By the time we got together there where only six pictures left, the many guys she went out with over the years, and she showed the pictures to everyone of them, stole most of them. Also the photographer kept a role for himself. When I was alone in the house I used to enjoy these pictures very much. After we got married she destroyed them, she turned into a prude, and didn't want our kids to find them. I often wonder if any of these pictures are still around. I search the internet hoping to some day find one posted somewhere, but so far I've had no luck. She certainly was a hot little slut before we got married

Somewhere in house moves I lost the box of photos I took of naked female friends. At the time I told them that one day they would want them and I was right. Now they are really pissed off that they are lost.

Some actress in an interview (I forget who) was asked if she minded nude scenes. She said 'hell no' get it on film while it's fresh.

So everybody should have a record of themselves in their prime, but you need a totally trustworthy friend.

The funny thing is none of them were that bothered about me reciprocating with solo stuff. They were only really interested in us videoing and taking photos when we were together. I could have been a complete git about it and when we broke up posted them everywhere, as some seem happy to do. However in each break up I did what I thought was the right thing and destroyed them.
